So can someone who has IT knowledge please explain the significance of the website originally timing out (as now) but then changing to the 404 message and now back to timing out?

Indeed tsbs. And at the moment we could do with the website coming back up to show we still have a pulse.

Maybe they're updating it to reflect Zaza's removal.
Or maybe they haven't paid the bills.

Madp: so please correct me if I'm wrong but your theory is that when the arbitration tribunal said to FRR, on a number of occasions, "provide evidence of obstruction", at that point the GG said: "don't provide any evidence as we are offering you a deal". So FRR ignored the arbitration tribunal... Oh yes, the one instigated by the GG to take FRR's asset, and let them find in favour of the GG. Then the GG said "ahah! Got you! We were only kidding".

I'm afraid you are completely deluded with your theories.

Also in passing, the reference to the two SMs is only from Zaza so I think that suggests that maybe we shouldn't be placing too much faith in that story ...

StarRage: there was evidence of talks in that someone referred to them. One of the GG representatives I believe? Someone will have a much better memory than me...

Madp: maybe. Or the press are completely unaware and he doesn't want to talk about it as he's been sacked.

Madp: that's a fair point to a degree, although if he was no longer a representative of Frontera he would not have the authority to talk about it and no-one would want to interview him.

StarRage: clearly the irreconcilable differences reason is a major worry, as it could be true. It seems unlikely that after all this time Zaza and SN would fall out but then they have been operating under incredible pressure so it could be the case. Maybe SN did not approve of Zaza's misrepresentation of so much fact (eg the arbitration result). I think Madp is the one clutching at straws in so far as the lawyer's have just blamed irreconcilable differences to have a plausible reason for stopping representation of Zaza.

Technically he could return as CEO at any time, but given we don't know why he was removed we don't know if there's a reason why he would not be reinstated.

It beats me why some folks seem to cling on to B-2-0's predictions of riches when if you review his posting history it's clear he knows nothing more than the rest of us. JJCarter on the other hand did provide new knowledge.

We are all wondering and speculating on what is going on based on the two things we know: Zaza is no longer associated with FRR and Zaza has suddenly gone quiet, having previously been banging the Frontera drum hard and bashing the GG.

The wording of JJ Carter's post implies he was pushed rather than resigned bwtfdik.

It's immensely frustrating when posters come on here and make "nudge nudge wink wink" comments that everything will come good but don't provide any evidence/detail.
B2o did it many times but his posting history has subsequently revealed that he knows nothing more than you or I. What motivates such behaviour is beyond me.
Now RR has done the same. I say either provide some evidence/detail or stop playing with people's emotions in the cruelist way. RR you should know as well as any of us how much money some of us have likely lost.

Saying SR is TW is as ridiculous as say EkXoc is Zaza.

It seems to me that almost everyone supports Looed's message, and the first draft is an excellent start, but that a slight majority appear to support delaying until after the election.
The first time in a while that Madp and myself have the same view :).

Looed: thank you for your reply. You miss my points so please allow me to clarify.
Firstly, I am not "moaning". I support your suggested action but do not support the timing; I am suggesting waiting until after the election.
Secondly, I do not support the way we have been treated. Quite the opposite: we have been treated appallingly!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and proposed course of action.
I think your suggested way forward is constructive and, given where we are and how long we have been here, is appropriate. The only issue I have with it is timing.
We are in a position where, after months of posturing and sabre rattling by both the GG and Zaza, silence has descended. This silence has descended around six weeks before an election; the very time when we should be seeing a crescendo of rhetoric. So why has it happened? Well the obvious conclusion to draw is that talks are taking place.
We are all shareholders wanting a positive outcome. It is possible that such an outcome is being hammered out right now. It could be that as part of that outcome Zaza has been pushed away. This would make it easier for the GG to come out of this with their reputation upheld. Maybe they're working on a deal involving majors (BP and BH perhaps) and will shortly announce a plan for energy independence for Georgia involving all parties. Yes, this all sounds a bit positive, but it is not beyond the realms of possibility imo.
My point is that if this, or something akin to it, is happening then it has to happen before the election from the GD perspective. What would be tragic would be if we managed somehow to throw a spanner in the works. I know that sounds dramatic and unlikely but why risk it for the sake of a few weeks?
There's no harm in planning now and agreeing a statement and process but I propose delaying implementation until the end of October.

Star: you're not seriously suggesting Rainbow is Zaza? Apologies if I have misinterpreted. No-one pays any attention to RR anyway; we just let him live on happily in his fantasy World.
We can see that Zaza has gone quiet this past few weeks and nothing from the GG either. Hopefully there are negotiations ongoing. If there are then any bleating by us can only have a negative affect. So my vote, for what it is worth, is to wait until after the election. We have waited patiently (well overtly anyway) for almost two years so let's wait a tad longer.

This scam company stuff has been circulating for years.
If so, it is the first scam company I am aware of that produces oil and gas, has employees and was taken to an international arbitration court by a Government. These are all facts. I wouldn't worry about those comments Kippermanbike. We have plenty to worry about otherwise for sure.
