JB, regarding the 'pack of cards' scenario, there's no getting away from the fact that before February 2020, RM were on the verge of a potentially damaging strike from the CWU and had a CEO who was determined to get his way. The SP was falling daily as indeed were letter volumes. Covid-19 has undoubtedly masked many problems with RM however I believe that the underlying issues are still there. The new CEO has obviously tried to paint over the cracks with a decent pay deal in the hope of fixing the major issues before the lockdown ends but it's now a race against time.
LordWales, if you don't see the correlation between the business and it's employees and their union then this may not be the share for you? Plenty of opportunities elsewhere IMHO.
