I don't think that this is going to have a significant impact on the SP but for the last three weeks we have been bombarded with requests from our managers (and union reps) to complete a survey on trust. It shouldn't come as a surprise but staff morale and trust in management has hit an all time low since Rico took over and it seems that Simon Thompson wants to rebuild the relationship.

Shaunymac, I wouldn't want to influence you one way or another regarding sell or hold but I can say that GLS will be doing just fine with their low overheads and staff costs model and they have been propping up the UK side of the business for years. Rico may have tried to turn RM workers over whilst he was CEO, but I suppose that we should be grateful to him for forming GLS.

We relaxed social distancing and quite a few have now stopped wearing face masks in my office.
Interesting to note that the HSE have taken an interest in several offices over the last three months with one very large mail centre being served no less than two enforcement notices in the same week!
This however will in no way affect the share price...lol.

I'm not sure about Herpes but my mail centre handles quite a lot of Amazon parcels that get passed on to us when the local Amazon depot cannot cope presumably because they cannot get enough drivers or the routes on offer aren't lucrative enough but this is not guaranteed work and can sometimes bulk us out. I'm assuming that RM heavily discounts these items but I have no proof of this.

Anyone else noticed a marked decline in parcels last week and this week? I reckon that my office is down by approximately 15% to 20%. It may just be mid month doldrums and pick up again after payday at the end of the month but time will tell.

Eric, the wording of the SWW agreement is "a one hour reduction to be implemented no later than the 1st of October 2021" so the sooner that your DOM and IR Rep have agreed to a revision then it will commence.

loutro, of course market conditions change constantly, however, I tend to agree with deshulme that Coronavirus was a timely intervention as far as RM were concerned. The workforce were on the verge of industrial action and the CEO was too stubborn to back down. I shudder to think where RM would be now but rest assured it is in a much better place now that Herr Back is out of the picture.

Petralva, unfortunately testing isn't mandatory so that's not going to happen but I get your point.
Fortunately, I have children who are still in education and they come home with test kits on a Friday afternoon so I have access to as many as I want.

RM actually trialled the lateral flow test kits at the beginning of January but decided against rolling this out to all offices probably due to cost and the fact that they didn't want half the workforce self isolating as a result of positive tests.
I can't see that there will be a massive take-up on LFT kits given that they are freely available to school children and their families via schools and most GPs have stocks to hand out.

Think back to February 2020. This stock was heavily shorted and on a massive decline and it seemed that no-one had a clue as to how to get out of the downward spiral. The pandemic has certainly given RM a shot in the arm but I think that despite its epic revival it is lodged at just below a fiver for a very good reason. Hopefully it will be steady as she goes for the next few months without any large drops but unless there is another lockdown event I cannot see it rising by another 20% for quite sometime.

I am pleased to report that my mail centre was once again rammed to the gunnels last night - it was just like Christmas! Obviously management was caught out totally unprepared (just like a normal Christmas) but I would estimate that parcel and letter traffic was up by around 25% on last Easter.
I thought that the SP would soar on today's news???

With profits reported to exceed £700m for this financial year I would say that 10p per share would be affordable.
I can't fathom why this stock isn't trading at a higher price?

Gunner, Asda will probably manage a work around by not offering a pay rise next year. Don't forget that Asda told their staff a couple of years ago to sign new contracts or lose their jobs and although the staff are supported by the GMB union there's not enough employee members to really force the issue.

It's little wonder that investors love this stock. The price can easily fluctuate by two or three percent in a day whilst others don't have any movement for days on end. It's the gift that keeps on giving.

Any suggestions regarding the 18.6p drop today?

Indeed, it seems that she has made a mistake. If she had held on for another two weeks then she would have made another £50k.

I couldn't agree more. Maths classes should include sections on good and bad debt plus topics such as mortgage Vs renting, compound interest and APR. I have been home schooling my 15year old during lockdown and working with him but I feel that some of the maths subjects could be replaced with more relevant topics so I have given him some extra guidance. Martin Lewis (MSE) has some good guides for both young and old alike.

Lurker, I am in agreement with your analysis of Tesco and think that this could be a great long term investment. I certainly can't see the SP dropping any lower and can only really see positives here.
