I'm not exactly sure what products you are selling, exactly how time critical they are or where you are sending them to but I as I understand the situation you use or have the ability to use other carriers?
The Royal Mail website has been very good at displaying advanced warning of potential service disruption and the CWU legally has to give a minimum of fourteen days notice to Royal Mail. Indeed, some of the strike dates published by the CWU were almost seven weeks in advance.
So my question is, with so much notice given, could you not have made alternative plans for your products to be conveyed by another carrier over the published dates?
