The reservoir is great, operations and production can be managed with delays , but missing payments killed Gkp nearly.

.. and I forgot to mention your nose: sweet light crude, hydrocarbon condensate smell like $$. Sometimes even like sweet tropical fruits (but be carefull, can be full of carcinogenic hydrocarbons, that are needed for the anti knock properties for your engine)

At the rigsite it is always exciting to see the core when it comes to surface. If it is a good core you will know it immediately just by using your eyes and touching it: the core is sweating big drops of hydrocarbons, you see pores on the coarse surface of the core full of hydrocarbons, you see natural fractures, and you can see that it is brittle.
When you need a lab to find out if the core is good or not because you cannot see it, it is not very good. But in this case the lab will give you more detailed information how to crack the code for this reservoire if possible to produce economically.
I would like to see fotos from the cores and a first core description from the well site geologist . Anybody knows his phone number in NT? ;-)

Would like to know if GKP has checked already if it is possible to produce the HC condensate from the lowest part of the Reservoir and re-inject the condesate into the higher part of the Reservoir where we got the heavy oil.

Usually heavy oil has a low recovery factor, is difficult to produce and causes flow assurence Problems in the tubing, facilities and Pipelines. But diluted with the condensate, more heavy oil could be produced easier, if there is compatibility and the condensate Acts as a solvent for the heavy oil. At the end of the day this could be translatet into more recoverable reserves nd this equals to more Money.
