Very true Smyths and like Pat I have been keeping my own spreadsheet because I still believe they will pull out of the share buy back program once the short is closed.
I also think they are keeping the buys low so that the cash "allocated" for it will still be shown in the end of year accounts which is obviously better for the figures.

Exactly EasiWynns and it has surprised me that nobody else understands that on this forum.
The last form of action Dark would take is legal action. If they fail to obtain a closed court that would open up their business operations in to the public domain. Which would benefit competitors and the shorters.
Too much of a risk and the policy they are taking so far is working. Make a statement, put a procedure in place to attack the shorters in form of a share buy back. Then say absolutely nothing and carry on with business as usual whilst dropping a few updates on the way.

For somebody claiming to have so many shares they would know that any and I mean any Financial document has a disclaimer because

I admire you confidence PI. I assume you have raised as much cash as physically possible and loaded up on Darktrace. The prices have never been below IPO, what could possibly go wrong.
