Excellent just what all us share holders love to see. The profits generated within the business are not invested back into the business and not used towards acquisitions of other businesses are used for share buybacks.
Nothing better than seeing the money not going to share holders but back to Poppy and her mates to line their pockets.

Around 2 pm US reported higher than expected inflation data. Also around that time the chuckle brothers at No 10 decided there might be a U turn on the mini budget.

That 45 minutes today across the whole stock market was crazy. Was some very tempting drops for a couple of stocks I have on my watch list I am sure the opportunities will come around again over the next couple of months.
Dark teased me at 2.75 (wasnt 2.70 though) anyone that loaded up has done well. Will be a quick 10% profit by next week.

As for £6 good luck with that. I personally would love it to reach that and would be out at that price. Perfect time for everyone to load up if they believe that this company is 100% undervalued.

Not too bad an update and nothing too worrying in it. As for the exchange rate they used that as a positive in January this year so swings and roundabouts.
Unless another takeover is imminent this could be hovering around £3 for some time. Which leaves plenty of time for those who believe the Berenberg BS plenty of time to load up. £2.80 will interest me where as £2.70 will be loading up time.

Or did they do what a lot of people on here did and fell for the hype. You could look at the likes of THG, BOO even Next institution's were loading up at £80 a share and now that is down to £45.
Historical purchases are meaningless times change for example there wasn't a war going on.
I am still long on Dark but looking back is pointless.

Charles you do realize that the only reason it is at 589 is because a certain broker named in a Darktrace RNS on 3rd Sept 21, values it at double its current price. Let me think I wonder if they may have an agenda with that valuation hence why they and you regularly kept ramping £10 a share.
The one thing it has taught many on here do not believe any valuation on any business that broker ever reports.

The old adage "run before you walk" sums up Darktrace. IMO it has found a stable price and the business is on the right path for growth. It was getting carried away by the "tech" boom and never really earned its spot in the FTSE 100. How long ago that seems. Many factors haven't helped it on its short lived stock market listing one of those can undoubtedly be the ridiculous valuations at both ends of the spectrum by Brokers. The Berenberg £10 valuation is still laughable and was only ever issued after it became a joint corporate broker along with Jeffries for Darktrace.
The fact some people still believe that £10 valuation tells you all you need to know about the last 12 months of Dark. A mixed bag of holders consisting of the.

Hopeful
Confident

I missed the 2 drops today down to £2.90, was going to load up as I expect it to level back off at £3.30 in the next couple of weeks. Would have taken that 15% for a quick flip, all goes towards some spending Money for Barbados in Feb.

I have no problem with that Onsolidground my issue has always been with Share buybacks. Not just Dark but all businesses. In Darks case they just used the share buybacks to give to themselves. What benefit was that to the Shareholders. The free float gets reduced and the voting rights increase higher at Board level.

Not sure about that Bobocaca. RNS from the 5th August where she added 727,775. All in all some very underhand goings on. I still believe in Dark would like a board reshuffle though far too many of them in each others pockets. Makes you wonder if TB did find something.

I would not be getting excited about poppy buying shares. There has been some serious dodgy goings on with the companies allocation of shares to the directors.
All those share buy backs they were doing when they had surplus cash to eventually just hand them back to each other. Stealing the money out the investors pockets to line their own.

It is a strange one Moonpig. I like the business have used it on multiple occasions but would I really want to invest in it. The financials look okay and in my opinion current price seems fair.
Compared with Dark totally different business but I see far more Growth potential in Dark than I do Moon. Easy to see why the shorts are targeting it, and as you say keeps them away from Dark.

Directors do not need to buy when they are being gifted the shares for nothing.

Dark seems to be back in a lull at the moment but will offer at times opportunity for adding extra or new addition to the portfolio. I am lucky to have some cash sat there from the recent PBR dividend I am only looking at adding if it drops back down to £3 lucky enough my average is £3.57 so no real point at the moment.
Always try and look for positives. No matter how hard it is out there take solace that there is always someone who is so under water a life vest will not save them.
