This franks 31 Inf as a relatively safe long term investment and hopefully will highlight the company to a new group of potential investors. I put my other half into these four years ago. She now gets a yield in excess of 7.5% and is sitting on potential gains of over 50% for taking a realistic amount of risk. It is also advantageous taxwise to have in the !SA since it is Guernsey registered and so divis are paid gross. Wish all my investment advice was this good!!!

That would be nice Mac19, but it would need a lot more cash than Skye under its present management would want to throw at it. It is possible, I suppose, that with acceptance for Flutiform all over the world and therefore an increasing track record, the co might want to start a challenge to the FDA but I don't think its Peter Grant's style! It's a pharma, for G-d's sake! Why is it so startling that it needs cash for R & D? You should expect it. The rising S.P has just gone too far too fast so the short-termists and arbitrageurs, 80% of holders, are showing their colours and cashing in.

Oriel Secs reiterate 460p today as the shares fall further. I'm still in (just!) hoping Grant has something up his sleeve for the Annual Statement. He has never disappointed to date.

As a long term holder, I am alarmed by this fall but believe that it is both overdone and may flush out a bidder.
