Just stumbled onto PIM and looked at RNS and Calendar here. Placing in July at 31p and can pick them up cheaper now with figures and AGM coming up soon. Bit of a gamble but they only have to get the first bit of science right for the punters to be fighting for them. I think I shall look up Mr Brubecker first and if I do buy, it will be incre (!) mentally.

It all seems to be so wonderful, I wonder why no other building co has thought about doing this before? You know the saying: If it looks too good to be true, it probably is! Don't get me wrong. I am sitting on quick profit here like the rest of us and it is great. But something is gnawing inside and I'm thinking: 'Maybe before too long I should do the Capn Sensible thing and whip out the profit.' Anyone else think the same?

Just been looking at timing of figures and the Interims to 30/09 will be out quite soon, probably early Nov. Last year's were not nice and there is good reason to think this year's will be considerably better, even though in the past most earnings came in 2nd half. BUT now the cash is mainly coming in $$$, its a fair bet the first half when converted into sterling could look rather nice and cause upgrades to be made for the Finals and possibly the divi. I am already well-stocked here but you could do worse than tuck a few away before the news creeps out and the run-up starts. My target before I think of taking profit is 75p and that won't happen for some while..

If I am correct, the ultimate result of Mystic will be positive and on top of all the other exciting discoveries AZN will be up there. If not, then it is quite possible the result will actually lead to somewhere else worth following up. Definitely not a stock to be short of in times like these.

Tories wont go to electorate for 4 years even if May resigns. By then the kiddiwinkies will have grown up a lot and Corbyn and his left wing thugs will be toast. We might have to manage with Boris as PM or colourless Hammond but we'll bumble through. NG will be in the 950-1000 range for a long time unless they have some new battery wonder up their sleeve, but we can live with it and sleep nights.

Still amazed if there is no bid for this in next few months. I know it must be tightly held but surely one of the big boys are going to have a pop at it?

Well it's nice to get something right! Latest on the U.S new issue has sparked a big rise and some interest. It is too much to expect in this field that all its ventures will turn to platinum - bound to be failures and setbacks but the Welcome Trust portfolio has the gems in it as I suspected. The questions now are: 1) What new prospects will be added over time and will they be as good? 2) how high can the SP go before it is realistic to think of taking some profit? I can't answer the first but I can see the price doubling within a year or so and that might be a good point to cash some in.

I have obeyed the John Authors article on back page of weekend FT and taken another sizeable slug out of this market. I am keeping the decent divi payers (including NG) and accepting that if there is a mini or bigger crash, these will be badly affected (and possibly a buy lower down).

Many have latched on to a wind down of foreign students and decided to cash in. They may be right but institutional money is still willing to agree to pay this co before they build and so, on balance I'm staying put but keeping an open mind!

25000 at 328p. Has to be a director or senior manager, or even an institution. Price very firm in a squidgy market. Great things expected here bur patience needed to unlock value.

Down today but note the purchase of over 1.3M at the close. Still very sure this has the look of going places or being bid target soon.

I reckon the Directors who bought a few months back at the mid40s are cashing their chips today and no doubt hoping to repeat the trick before they are in Purdah again. In fact, the market price would probably have increased more without this activity, in which case they may not be so lucky now once the tipsters have pushed the SP up,

Perhaps someone will now realise these are worth looking at! After a small (to us shareholders) Open Offer and large Placing,to finance what seems another shrewd deal to add a bit of girth to the capital, there is a firm commitment to apply for a Main Board listing. As a non-London commercial property outfit committed to paying decent dividends, there is bound to be greater visibility. They have indicated support in the Placing from institutions so this is likely to be a great ride over the 3-5 year term whatever Brexit throws at us! Glad I got in a few months back and I'll have a few more thanks very much! For those (if any) who read this and are not already on board, the temporary price blip caused by the introduction of many new shares is just the time to jump on.

Satchell is no fool. He knows he does not have to talk up the shares. Financial mags and weekend papers should pounce on these. I still think Pearson (or a Yankee outfit) will bid before they get too mature. They are a tuckaway at around these levels.

Pleased to see there are a few more small investors nibbling at this shrewd outfit. Someone today paid a shade under 340p and still a bargain.

O.K so there's profit takers, but nearly three times volume of purchases to sales recorded! Possibly one big seller dumping.

Very small free float, so when a few institutions want to lay their hands on them by the five noughts, the price can be expected to spike!
