Been scouring the press today and found an interesting comment from M. oh Sorry (joke) He made the point that this is an immuno-oncology drug and it does not work in the same way as chemotherapy. When you analyze that point it is not only fair, it gives significant cause for hope. The news was that the results were no improvement on chemotherapy, which could be interpreted as 'as good as' chemo. But instead of a type of poison, killing cells, it acts by training your immune system to zap only the cancerous ones. Worth hanging in there for the next result! Maybe people live a lot longer.

Encouraging. Am doing my CGT Return and came across all my AZN buy contract notes, which gave me some comfort.Nothing above £42 and my first 40 at £27. Looking back to my post on here the day before the current RNS, I should have relied on my gut and got out then but would lose the 'safe' large dividend. Perhaps Monsieur will do a deal to help out both AZN and Teva. Anyway, I'm still in, but will listen to my gut feeling next time!

Offer is £40.90 pre open with a spread of over 27%!!!! Jobbers taking no chances. Mystic failure and the AZN desperately trying to find some good news for us holders. My suspicion yesterday over the release regarding Faslodex was just as I feared.

Citigroup latest rating £60.00. Figures out tomorrow. More buyers than sellers today. Expect big plus tomorrow - and, inevitably, profit-taking! But if I am right and Mystic is heading for at least one blockbuster, the smart money will be staying put.

There's been chatter that they will seek a quote over the pond. I can't see anything much in the figures to cause the SP to move and they are really small to get a NASDAQ quote. The only logical conclusion is a big boy is stakebuilding, possibly ahead of a bid. Whatever the reason, it's good news!

This has the feel of a stock that will get an unsolicited bid before too long (Pearson!!!) Probably as soon as the co shows a profit.

I hold a lot of these and other infras in the portfolio and have topped up in C share issues over the years. The SPs are all well off the top, probably in anticipation of increased interest rates which now seem well in the future, so one can argue there is scope for bounce back. I have done extremely well with the divis over the years but there will come a time to sell part at least because they all stand at premiums to the asset value and that gives scope for even more drops in SP. But where can you get this income with this degree of safety? Anyone else out there facing this dilemma?

Doing well on my little investment. Seems those in the know think (like me) the portfolio cos - or at least a few more of them - could win big and SYNC's holdings could reflect this.

Thanks Rivaldo for the info. Already in here and this lot certainly know what they're doing! Just hope Brexit doesn't remove the big advantages for foreign students coming over here! This is so obvious that you would hope the negotiators would have it at the front of their minds.

The technical chart clearly shows that over the last two weeks NG hit a trough and is now back to where it was. Buybacks are now aiding SP because private buying is having to compete. Only a gentle upward chart but the longer it goes on, the more brokers will realize.

Not actually great now! Still many more deals booked as sales rather than buys and nothing at all from the co. Bit of a curate's egg right now but if, like me, you believe in the tactics and have some faith that there is a pot of gold at the end of Mystic (even a large flower pot!) then why sell now? Interims due out end of July so Pascale will have to say where he is by then!

Reckon quite a few unhappy small shareholders will be asking why they gave cash back by reducing the share cap rather than by enhancing the divi over, say, five years and leaving the share cap alone!

Looked this up on Morningstar and it really has been a boring year or so. Doesn't mean it won't sit on a huge winner at some point so I suppose it depends on your timeframe as well as your attitude to risk. I will sit with it for another 18 months or so.

Someone paid 14.49p for the rights today and they have about three weeks to make a gain or take them up. Brave! I am taking mine up because the trust looks positioned well for the uplift in financials, particularly in USA. I am also in modest profit.

Massive sells today with no buying but SP stays level and no news expected. More gritting of teeth required here!

Market has pushed this down since my post but it has Interims out soon and hopefully good news about the pipeline. When the market is like this, you either have to cash in and hope you can buy back more cheaply or else grit your teeth and recite through them:'I own quality and I am sticking with it!'

Why would small holders sell out at these levels knowing they are giving them back to the co who will not reissue them (at least in short term) and have more cash available to increase the divi for those who stay in? I'm not wild about sitting on notional loss like this on a large core holding but there is no reason to suppose they won't move back in due course when the shares are tipped again for safe and increasing income. According to Carney, interest rates are going nowhere here in a hurry so NG's time in the sun will come again.

Seems still no interest, but Mr B is still making money from his reit. Interest rates will rise soon and this will on balance be good for this type of stock. In the meantime rising divis will keep me in here. Get the feeling there will only be one large move in the SP and there is a wide spread anyway so timing will be very crucial if I want to sell at profit - which I do!
