But we can have both long and shorts via CFD’s with same broker just different view points

Know I was being Uber bullish saying heading to £1.50 but looking at the trend and the short CFD exposure I reckon tomorrow we will see a reduction in short CFD ‘s - Am assuming Belerion added 2.7M yesterday

IF … big IF , Belerion & Candyman declare buying tomorrow ( today )
that’s further pressure on those CFD shorts

Key for us longs is being able to see how the shorts are trading via CFD’s
think they are going to get well squeezed here, it’s not like lending shares off a bank, they have to deliver the stock.

So the last few days the shorts have been shorting via CFD’s and others building stakes be that Belerion / Candy Man Monday

Short CFD’s tried to push down first thing today and big longs moved in

We can guess Belerion and possibly Candyman are in the market today - we find out tomorrow

Could be but these Form 8.5’s are giving us a good insight into what’s going on

The Buys out weigh the sales and a good chunk of sales are via CFD’s

If as appears there is a element of stake building / plus longs anticipation of a bid - like the Dutch outfit today

It doesn’t look like the Banks are loaning out their shares - may be rules when a take over in play

It appears CFD’s are being used - guessing the Banks won’t allow participants to borrow /lend shares so we are seeing a higher use of CFD’s

Candyman is the one we want to see … it could be today or tomorrow
Either way Belerion we can guess accumulated yesterday and will be in the market today - reporting tomorrow

Those CFD shorts have to settle within their agreed trading days settlement , they can now see someone is building a stake, sweaty palm time for them

We could a very sharp bounce up on hint of a BID as the short CFD’s close out

Starting to make a bit of sense what’s been going on, there was no way Belerion could short on one trade and long another and have a Bid on the table for £1.70 - takeover panel wouldn’t have that

So King Street have bought 2.7M shares for client(s) we can surmise Belerion have upped their stake Ditto shorted 1.6M shares for other client(s)King street have to report this way as part of the Takeover code Relevant? Suggest soAssume Belerion are building up a position and a deal happens then the shorts have to close out sometime especially IF multiple bids come in, in effect in this case Kings Streets other clients ?Any views on this ?
