Knowing full well Matt has the Golden Share and must know Matt wouldn’t sell up at £1.70? They are big friends.

Matt can sit back and watch the action unfold and trump the highest Bid

He has 15% equity today , the business pays him £25M a year in rent as he owns the real estate.

With a decent ‘ carry’ he would expect to grab 30% of the equity at least in a deal driven by him

It’s all about your entry point now, Matt won’t pay a premium he will have an enough debt to fund the buyout / grow the business

My gut was £4B but will he pay that ? Doubt it in this market ?
