We wouldn’t normally get privy to the daily trading details of the big banks on behalf of II’s and Whales, goes to show how they manipulated THG down to £1, multiple tools in their box

Don’t think the Takeover panel allow a ‘bidder ‘ - and they Kings Street have formally put a Bid in

Then short the stock for that same client and at same time go long for the same client ,don’t think that’s allowed in this situation

Not saying Kings Street can’t act for different clients mind

Are King Street acting for different clients, they are then disclosing the aggregate daily amount yesterday ?

Some clients Long , some Short ? CFD’s being weapon of choice ?

They have to deliver the stock so it puts them under pressure

We may see fun and games in the market as they can’t loan stock from the banks in a takeover and all their trades - aggregated- is there for us to see

This of course is over and above Shorts who have borrowed paper from the Banks, the CFD’s have to deliver the paper.

Cant argue with that thesis, his " carry " will be a big part of the negotiations, ditto new $ doesn't get priority, seats on Bod, coupon , covenants etc

Institutions can’t borrow from a Bank in a take over but a friendly broker could offer a CFD

So it’s not actually a physical sale as they have not delivered the stock
it’s a promise to do so

Same time other Investors are stake building - has been a few CFD Longs but the Shorts seem to be now using

The 8.3 exposes them as we now all know their volume

One decent RNS and they will have to cover, they can’t not deliver the paper

This was my take this morning at £1.39 /40 felt we could see £1.50 today mentioned at the time

Plus reading across to L2/L3 coupled with the buying of physical shares

Could be wrong but gut feel this is the case.

These CFD shorts could get toasted, whilst we are not massive volume if PI’s take the 5% profit - rather than ride it - the swing trade algo’s click in

It’s getting very interesting

If it is good RNS coming we will see a spike and half from the short CDF’s trying to close

If it happens they will be hoping the 5% profit traders bale

Quite a few short CFD’s out there now - on top of Loaned stock

The short CFD’s have the biggest problem as the market now knows the volume since last Friday - The 8.3- and they have to deliver the stock it’s not loaned

Ok it’s 24 hours behind but it gives us a flavour

Am not sure it’s the Bank making the position themselves it’s on behalf of clients, hence we get an 8.3 with both long and short trades
Notice it’s CFD’s , I don’t think the Banks can lend stock themselves during a takeover
