For clarity and transparency this may be the first CBG face serum in the UK but it is certainly not unique as there are CBG face serums on sale in other territories.
CBG is definitely a positive but even with the RNS'd white paper the general populus and customer base will for the most part have no real comprehension of the difference between CBD and CBG. There are CBD serums on sale in many outlets and I do not see many consumers that shop for face serums having CBG as their main driver when selecting a product.
Maybe the posters in tube stations and the adverts in the free London papers may stoke up a bit of interest
@pictland - yes I too am very suspicious of anyone that feels the need to change their name here. I guess it is to hide their posting history but those that were in this group from IPO times have very good memories.
@dodge - To claim that the aim of the TG group is to be respectful and allow all comments (including negative) is not true as anyone that has seen the posts (especially in the early days) will know. It may have improved but I haven't bothered to check.
If truth be told those that have set up and run the TG group were the most disruptive here and although the lack of news has meant this board is much less active at the moment it is a much more pleasant environment here
It isn't new news as it was discussed here last year - I think most people assumed it had stalled but it's interesting that the report states it is planned for February. Fingers crossed
We are clearly in the presence of genius!
At 08.43 and with the SP at 8.60 Khaled posted this "Guys, sell this asap as this will go down to below 8 and close to 7p"
We are blessed to receive advice from someone who joined LSE today and yet feels the need to tell us all how we should invest our money!
Another Johnny come lately who thinks he's one of the big boys - comedy gold!
@windows - sadly there are a number of very self-righteous posters here who will not entertain anyone posting a point of view that does't conform to their agenda of pumping this share as hard as possible.
The facts that you (and I since the IPO) have raised are considered and need to be addressed. There are a large number of posters here who are very new to investing and have been hoodwinked into believing this share will urn them into millionaires overnight.
I for one am certainly in favour of hearing both good and bad as it allows each of us to make informed investment decisions and keeps some of the hysteria in check.
Rest assured you aren't the most hated person on the TG group!!
Ad-meliora - I am very well researched on the Cnnabinoid industry thank you having worked in the industry and having serious investments in a number of companies.
I am also fully conversant with the various cannabinoid types and my comment was that CBG is a differentiator for CG (although there are other companies providing CBG products in the marketplace) and they should be highlighting the benefits and the advantages as this is a product line that could give them more traction than traditional CBD which is the prevalent product.
The success of the February main launch is dependent upon correct marketing and branding and focussing on areas that give the company an advantage to stand out over the plethora of companies currently selling online and in High Street stores.
@gjh - there are plenty of companies selling sports focussed CBD products both in UK and US and many high profile stars are involved. A simple google search will give you an idea of the competition. Similarly there are even more companies targeting the premium skincare ranges. CBG is certainly a USP currently but I see little promotion of the advantages and differentiation of CBG over CBD.
Ultimately the market, whilst young, has sellers covering most angles but good companies will always thrive amongst competition. Getting the basics right, the products right and the information/marketing right will be the key to success.
Hopefully the new CEO will be using the period between soft launch and full launch in February to ensure the company get these things right
@drax - I have not tried the capsules as I prefer the oils that are available from a number of suppliers. I found my sleep a lot better. It may be that the drops would not work for you either so maybe try them before writing CBD off.
gjh - unfortunately it isn't all opinion here. If you read this thread and others last night you will see that one person offers no opinion yet shouts down other posters with whom he disagrees and uses childish insults. Let's keep it adult and opinion based and if we disagree then let's have healthy debate.
dodge - I am all for opinions which lead to healthy debate. I don't like seeing self-appointed arbiters calling people idiots for having alternative opinions. I would be happy hearing R1bo's opinions rather than reading posts throwing childish insults out. I haven't (thankfully) seen anyone here wishing a loss on anyone yet although certain posters do like to gloat about other companies' SP drops for some reason.
It's a shame when someone posts an opinion backed up with substance and all some people here can do is shout them down and call them idiots.
I like to read a board where people put opinions forward with something to back them up whether those opinion are positive or negative. I don't like comments that resort to name calling as it is childish and offers nothing of value to anyone here. Reading and considering different points of view allows you to make informed and reasoned investment decisions.
The main perpetrator promised he was leaving this board a while ago (again nothing but hot air) yet still posts every day with nothing of substance and just shouts down anyone with an opinion that differs from his own. He will also tell everyone here who to listen to and who to avoid as if he rules this board.
Even in his private Telegram group he still moans about certain posters here (oops did I let the cat out of the bag!!)
Read what Pictland wrote as it makes sense and the sooner people get in touch with reality the better. This isn't going to rocket any time soon so let those with their agendas shout every day and be prepared to give this 18 months or so to start seeing some value.
@Gazz - I usually try to be clear and specific in my comments and I thought my comment fitted that brief. I'm trying to say that the prospectus highlighting the intention to use natural products in addition to lab products allows the company to cover many bases which is a positive.
My opinion has always been that a higher percentage of CBD customers would chose natural over lab made and having the option to compete in both arenas can only be a positive.
@Gazz - I'm not trying to guess what market is being targeted - what I am saying is that having the option to be reactive to where the demand comes from is a positive
CBD is a very new market and regulations are evolving across different geographical regions so it makes sense to keep options open.
If/when de-regulation is introduced into the UK then having a synthetic THC-free product only may put the company at a big disadvantage. Having the option to provide alternative products that meet consumer demands can never be a bad thing and if that means providing products with THC content (within permissible limits) then that's the way to go forward.
If cannabis becomes legalised then selling THC free products will not attract the major share of the market.
The official investor information is available on the company website:-

R1bo - the best thing you ever posted was that you were leaving this BB! That lasted all of a day or two and now you are back lowering the quality of the board. If you don't like me that's fine but I have been consistent in what I have posted and you are now posting much the same (without the substance) and resorting to childish name-calling again.
Forgive me for being suspicious but I for one find someone that posts non-stop ramping one week and doom and gloom the next somewhat disingenuous. I think most people here have worked you out.
The tide seems to have turned quite dramatically on this board and impatience with the SP seems to be the main driver.
Sadly the expectations of many investors here have been proved unrealistic due to misleading "facts" and ridiculous SP forecasts that have been posted in the past. At least that has stopped now. The company have products manufactured and in stock and selling online. They have made it clear that they are focussing on the major launch in February which is 6 weeks away. For those that have been invested since the IPO that is not much longer to wait so I am surprised that some are talking of selling at a loss now. We all have different investment strategies but the downside from here seems less of a risk than the potential upside.
Some people need to understand that the BOD and advisors are busy getting the February launch ready and are not overly interested in the short term SP. Their focus is (and should be) on ensuring that the launch goes as planned with the correct marketing, advertising and distribution deals finalised and if/when that happens the SP will look after itself.
Let the professionals (that many here have said are the best in the business) do what they do best and wait to judge them in February upon launch
@sterow - the AGM is in January NOT tomorrow
....and by moaning about my use of the word girl the underlying message was completely missed
