KR _ I have penned a few questions and rather than pool them all I think everyone should submit their own as they may feel more pressure to address issues that have been raised multiple times.
My question will be quite blunt and will ask if they have been carrying out civil works/site clearance in areas that haven't been previously mentioned - in particular a 350 x 350M area that appears to have been cleared very recently.
I will also ask whether the board have had discussions with any suitors that may be interested in partnering in the event of a commercial discovery.
It's important any questions are professional and to the point although I doubt they will respond to some that will inevitable be asked.
Guys - give it a rest.
This is a forum where people will have differing opinions and none are right or wrong - just opinions.
We will hopefully get answers from the board on Wednesday and a lot of this guesswork and stating opinions as facts will be clarified.
Accept that people have different opinions and move on - this board is turning into a school playground with posters turning things personal.
If you don't like a comment move on but accept that in a democracy everyone is allowed an opinion and if it differs from your own let it go.
I have seen very few posts of worth over the last few days as it seems to be a perpetual squabble between a number of individuals.
We have a lot of information coming up and good posts are being lost in a sea of dross.
Let it go and move on.
There seems to be a lot of scaremongering and acceptance that a cash raise is imminent. Don't bee too hasty!
This drill is of major significance in global terms and you can be assured that the majors will all be fully up to speed with where we are and will have been in discussions with the company already. Even DM alluded to the fact that they had been in discussions back in 2021.
In the event that we confirm a commercial discovery then there really won't be any need for a raise. Despite the statements to the contrary (and for obvious reason) HE1 are never going to be a producer and are not structured that way.
Raising a few million pounds may be feasible for one or two more drills but I would think they will have plenty of alternative funding options to consider before that money is needed.
Of course if they feel they want to ensure they have the funds to continue in the event that Tai-C is not successful then pre-spud would be the time (assuming time constraints allow).
The majority of posts over the past couple of days have been in depth reporting, guesswork, conspiracy theories and analysis of share price movements of 0.1p or so. Really?
This is pretty much a binary play - there are those that have been invested for 2.5 years and those that are new to the party. Many have come and gone over those past couple of years and I'm sure many will disappear once the SP increases by 1-2p.
I haven't waited 2.5 years for a few pennies increase in the SP. I've been through the happy days of the rise into the last drill and the lows of the aftermath.
I believe in the geology and expect the Helium to be commercial. The stress that some posters are experiencing over a few fractions of a penny rise and fall are irrelevant. Either we make a commercial discovery and the SP is many multiples of today or we fail in this drill and the cycle starts again.
The SP will do it's thing over the next few weeks and hopefully those that keep the faith will be well rewarded. Relax and go for a walk as the real fun has not started yet.
@wyndrum - that is something I have given a fair bit of thought to but assuming the local contractor has the right kit on site already it would not take too long or be too expensive to clear a 350 x 350M area. The costly part is mobilisation and de-mobilisation and getting hold of the kit. If you've ever worked with a D9 you'll know how quickly that work could be done. It's the main civils work that will be costly and I'm sure if skittish is on the right lines an announcement will be made with regard to the "additional works" in due course
I'm not sure why I'll waste my time answering as you seem to have a very obvious agenda here but anyway you probably know exactly why there is a huge difference in company valuations. Here are some reasons to start with:-
1) One company is listed in London and one is listed in Australia
2) One company has drilled their prospect previously in the territory and had Helium shows and one hasn't
3) One company has their own drilling rig with a firm drilling programme and one has a rig 7000 nautical miles away
4) One company has civil works approx 90% complete and one doesn't
I would be very disappointed if we aren't 2-3 weeks ahead of Noble when our drill breaks ground. Noble will need everything to go perfectly to stand a chance of any drilling starting before the 3rd week of September
There seems to be a lot of double-guessing and some scaremongering about today's news.
Today is the 1st of the month - if the stepping down had been long-planned then it would almost certainly end on the last day of a calendar month.
If something has changed with regard to the drill, the programme or any other material problem then the company would be duty-bound to announce it via RNS.
As far as we all know the geology hasn't changed and if the Helium is there and is commercial the person holding the position of Chairman makes little difference at this stage.
The announcement appears to have had little effect on the SP.
There will always be posters here that take great pleasure in trying to cause trouble (whether for personal gain or for some weird satisfaction) so just remember the facts and why you are invested here and enjoy the rest of the day.
@Roger - I entirely understand we have the option to hire out the rig and it may be hugely beneficial further down the line. As you say though only if it is beneficial. To even contemplate entering into agreements to hire out at this stage would be ridiculous as the results of the current drill will determine what our next play is. A lot of posters seem to be putting the horse before the cart at the moment but the focus needs to be 100% on the upcoming drill. Let's keep everything crossed for the confirmation of a discovery followed by confirmation that it is commercial. Then the fun will begin!
Triplestar - there is no point in thinking about leasing our drill out until the Tai drill has been completed. We may well need it within the 2 months you are talking about and you seem to have overlooked the rain implications. As shareholders we would not be happy if we could not proceed with any second drill that may be required until next year because we had rented our drill out! ....and I'm not sure where you get the figure of £5M that you think we could charge Noble.
@covgaz - didn't you know he is the guru here? He has "been invested" since 11th July (less than 3 weeks). Here are some of his posts from his first two days of joining LSE which should give you a better idea
first posts here, hoping people aren't going to try and murder me, bought in today for the drill, hopefully my buy will show up later on,
What are people's thoughts here, share price seems to be taking a breather, was expecting this to double and treble on run up to spud, guessing we are near two months away so a while away until the real action starts and share price reflects
Has anyone here ever done any calculations to the possible value here on discovery at tai c Wel?
How much is 2.8 bcf worth to us, anyone done any calculations I'm rubbish at this
I think 15p is good value right now and expect it to reflect soon enough, and maybe higher on spud 20p ish the returns here will be massive, guess why the last time it went crazy,
Going one way now, 5% traders should research and look at historic share price rise and understand where this is going
Wouldn't worry about daily price swings unless your a trader, as we get closer this will kick off a bit awa from the drill, just buy hold and wait for the kick off
Yep next stop 11.5p then will consolidate here untill next move up reckon to about 15-16p but all depends on news coming out
Comedy gold!
If Noble cannot drill this season (which is looking more and more likely at this stage) then they are in big trouble and may possibly need additional funding just to get them to a position to be able to drill next year. Could be a great opportunity for someone to take them over!!
"I think we will make it past 20p easy once we start drilling" - along with al your other guesses that haven't materialised?
"we know we have more helium then last time" - please explain how we "know". The drill isn't in the ground yet and you are stating things as facts. We won't know anything until September.
"weather pepper believe it or not the chances are a whopping ten bagger yes 1000% or more" - really??
You've been here less than a month yet you have a crystal ball and know things that the long-term investors here don't!
Give it a rest as most here saw the same thing in 2021 and we all know what happened then.
Yes we have a great opportunity but ultimately this is still a binary play.
Those that have seen this through from the start deserve the just rewards and those that have been through the highs and lows of the first drill know nothing is certain. Be careful what you post as it shows your naivety to think this is a guaranteed money-maker.
FUNDING for a second drill is not the same as having a second drill planned. We don't currently have any knowledge of what the cost implications are for further drills now we have secured our own rig (although there should be funds to cover the costs based on the comments that we are funded for a second drill).
We need the results before any decision will be made on where any second drill will be and what it may entail.
Talk of a second drill at the moment is unnecessary noise.
Talk of a second drill has not come form the company - it has been speculated by third parties and that has escalated to people throwing it out in their ramptastic posts.
As things stand today we have our own drill and have the upcoming drill planned for September - what the company plans are beyond that will be subject to results of the next drill.
Let's try and stick to what the company has shared rather than becoming strategy experts and designing a drilling programme based on whispers.
Onwards and upwards and hopefully we will get some sort of updates this week either via official channels or social media posts from the company.
Good luck all genuine holders
Roger - a couple of points
1) No experienced investor guesses the SP - those that state"SP will threaten 10p today" or "investors will pile in as it is FOMO Friday" are not experienced investors. The SP will do what it does and guessing what it's going to do displays enthusiasm but not experience.
2) The interview with LB was before last weekend and it generally agreed that she was expecting the first trucks on site last weekend
@Smithy - a few things:-
1) If you sold half of your allotment on the first day and kept the others you cannot be considerably underwater as they were trading in double digits before the majority of investors could sell. If you were one of the minority that had the shares available to trade on day 1 you would have had bought in cheaper than the general subscribers and again could not have sold for less than 100% profit on day 1.
2) If you think anyone about to invest a decent sum of money into this company relies on the comments on this board then you are sadly mistaken.
3) If you really believe that Cellular or King Tide cannot progress the business because of this board you again are very wrong - this chat board carries no weight in the real world.
4) As you are new to the board you may not be aware of the damage that the likes Amran (and his various aliases) did to investors here and the company with his ridiculous ramping and claims that he had inside information from the business.
I for one would rather see realistic posts (negative or not) than going back to head-in-the-sand approach of the rampers that this board was plagued with
Dodge has earned his respect from the longer-term members here because of his input over the years.
Maybe not the best first post with which to announce yourself
The link (removed) that caused the confusion was from Noble talking about how they have contracted a rig from Marriott.
They stated that they were pleased to have secured "another" HH102 rig but this was because the one they had previously secured (HH102) with SOFORI had fallen through.
It is in no way anything to do with HE1
...actually I was one of the few that called out all those posters who were bad-mouthing DM and even LB - you may want to have a look back to see who was quick to throw stones.
I have been here from the start and seen both rampers and de-rampers come and go - there are a core of level-headed investors here that I have respect for and bring a balance to the board.
Incessant ramping or de-ramping suggests posters have positions that they are very nervous about or are over-exposed.
Be positive by all means by go easy with the over-ramping - we all want the same end result.
Those that have been here since before the first drill remember the crazy ramping that kicked off pre-spud and we all know what happened.
Just breathe and enjoy the journey - as I said I'll be here after this drill whatever the result - many others will disappear
