I think you need to ease back on the ramping as it looks to be getting out of control.
Like every other genuine investor here I hope things pan out well over the next few months but this drill is NOT nailed on.
I don't know how long you have been investing in stocks but every few months you will find shares that are ramped outrageously as the share of the year and a dead cert get rich quick investment. 99 percent of them fail.
Some of the claims you are making are misleading and anyone that is new to the company needs to be aware that there are risks here and nothing is nailed on.
The official COS for this drill is around 14% which should give everyone a wake-up call.
Am I positive? Yes I am but I am also aware that this is another binary play and if anything goes wrong we could soon be back to mid single digits when all the get rich quick crowd have sold up looking for the next rainbow.
A number of us have been here from the start and experienced the roller-coaster of the first drill - many of the over-excited rampers disappeared after that never to be seen again - don't be one of those!
I will still be here whatever the outcome of the next drill.
@stu - I wouldn't get hung up on the price shifts - if you're invested then sit back and accept that the price is going to move up and down and remember that you bought in at the SP you did because at that time you it was a good investment opportunity.
No-one has a crystal ball despite what they say and everyone could have bought at a lower price point.
I have been invested since January 2021 with my first buy in the 7s. I have bought higher and bought lower and have not sold any as i believe that the helium is there and am happy to remain on the journey.
If all goes well the few pennies difference today will seem pretty trivial so maybe don't watch the daily movements and remember what it is you're invested in. Leave the screen watching to traders
To a certain extent the SP guesstimates are irrelevant at this stage as we have to confirm a discovery. Nothing is certain in the exploration business.
We have done everything we can so far and if we confirm a discovery at Tai then the new platform for the SP should be 50p+.
If we cannot confirm a discovery the SP will probably drift back down to single figures although this time as we have a rig we can react quicker than after the last drill.
If we do confirm a discovery and can manage to get a second successful discovery then the fun begins.
DM explained at length the costs and timeframe for monetising the asset and in world terms of resources it is relatively cheap and quick.
Don't for one minute think the company are interested in going into production - the company will be sold and there will already be plenty of interested parties watching developments closely.
if successful we are reliant on the company holding out for the best deal (the reality of Noble being in the same position doesn't help negotiations) but I fully expect the company to be sold within 18 months.
@itv - thank you - nice to see a lot of the old fogeys still here. I haven't posted much in ages as the board tone has been very flat with not much happening but I think some of the recent comments about DM etc have gone a bit too far and encouraged me to say something.
Looking forward to the next few months - should be quite a ride!
I may be alone here but I am sorry to see a number of posters bad-mouthing DM.
I've been here longer than many that have now jumped on the bandwagon but let's not forget that DM had an enthusiasm that helped generate a huge amount of interest in the company. I don't believe anything he did was not in the best interests of the company.
He was unfortunate with the drill but hindsight is a wonderful thing. Had the hole not collapsed the company may well have been in a very different position today but unfortunately these things happen. That should not turn him from a decent guy into a demon. I doubt many people that are slating him have ever met him or had the chance to discuss the project in person.
Last week it was Lorna that was copping the flak from all sorts of people. Now she is on a pedestal.
Sadly the popularity of or BOD is based on the SP and how nervous certain investors are about their money.
Let's leave them to do their jobs and not get personal - it's easy to be armchair experts armed with hindsight.
The company is in a fantastic position and I'm sure there will be some ups and downs on the continuing journey - the people behind the wheel want this to work as much as any of us so let's give them a chance to do their jobs rather than turning on them when we hit a bump.
Good luck to everyone invested and I for one am very confident the wait will be very worthwhile.
JKM - what a boring post! I tried reading it a few times but you lost me as it was not coherent in any way and you come across as a troubled soul and quite bitter for some reason.
If you don't think HE1 will drill or have a successful drill that's fine - it's an opinion.
Let's just wait and see what happens but rather than get wound up by people you consider rampers why not just move on and save yourself the stress?
Time will tell and no-one knows definitively what will happen over the next few months.
Go for a walk and enjoy some fresh air.
@JK - if the Helium is there it is there. If there is an issue with the drill (unlikely) then it will still be there when we put the drill in the ground.
You'll be long gone by then and no-one will remember you but enjoy your brief moment in the spotlight.
Some of us are investors and don't mind waiting a bit longer for our rewards
Maybe the marketing is being lead by one of the teams from The Apprentice
Remember why you invested here in the first place (if you are invested).
The Helium isn't going anywhere!
A rig we had an MOU on is not currently available. That does NOT mean there aren't alternatives available.
If there is a slight delay then so be it but in the whole scheme of why I invested here nothing has really changed.
Ad - your usual response to a number of posters here is if you aren't invested why do you bother posting here?
You have made it clear that you aren't invested (clearly you have no great belief in the company) yet you have posted more than any other poster here today. Why bother when you are aren't even invested?
There have been some very good points raised which have been lost in your attempt to turn every post into a personal squabble.
Let's try and stick to discussions based on points of view (both positive and negative) and leave the goading to one side.
Despite what you may say I have seen no gloating about the SP drop today but a number of posters raising genuine concerns and asking some good questions that need to be addressed.
The FSA have made themselves look ridiculous throughout the whole approval process and the timelines they initially set out have come and gone and it's clear they haven't got a clue what they are doing.
I think it's best to leave this to sort itself out - the armchair experts on here have no idea either way and if it was as easy as some of the posters here suggest then there would be no need for the company professionals to seek clarification and further advice.
There are products that have not and will never meet the criteria set out by the FSA which are still on sale and the FSA have done nothing to remove items from shelves so I don't think this is a major cause for concern although the way the announcements from the company have been made leaves much to be desired.
...and yes I also hold unlike ad-nauseum who has stated he holds no shares yet still thinks he has more right to be heard than those that actually are invested here. Delusions of grandeur. (....oh and what happened to your second grand exit where you said you wouldn't be posting again? You couldn't even get that right!)
I was holding ZOE/CHLL at £1 yes and still have a very substantial holding there thanks
@LGO - Ad-nauseum stated on Wednesday that he holds no shares, is confused, has only ever held one account here and that there is no point contributing anything to any BB's.
I expect him to reappear here with a new name again any day then!
Ad-nauseum - my post was correcting something posted as a fact by someone else yet you jumped in and turned it into a rant against me. I’m not sure where you get twisting the knife from - if that was the way I operate I would have posted when the SP crashed. I have explained my investment position here and certainly have no agenda in seeing the SP drop. I’m generally not a trader but this share is a good opportunity for those that do.
I have posted opinions about the way the company has handled roll-out, marketing and IR and posted early on that I expected a future placing to cover the huge budget needed to fund the marketing needed to put the products where the company needs them to be. I stand by all of those posts which were based on years of being invested in and working with start-up companies. You want to make it personal rather than discussing the points I’ve raised. That’s one of the reasons you have no credibility here and pleading to posters here to treat me as you do says a lot more about your own motives and insecurities.
@Ad-nauseum - the majority of posters here put forward opinions (as you do also) which is what a chat board is for.
Yes I've posted facts and anyone that wishes to check my history is able to see a history of my posts here.
Unfortunately they cannot do that with you as you changed your username to hide the amount of times you got it wrong, changed your opinion, threw hissy-fits and basically embarrassed yourself.
There is a reason you have hidden your previous posts as your history would undermine everything you post going forward.
You got it right in the last part of your post - I study! I am invested in a number of CBD companies and have been for a few years so yes I study companies , their products, their strategies, who they work with and the industry as a whole. I won't throw out any random price predictions and any opinion I offer is usually backed up with some substantiation. You could do worse than follow suit (much like when you plagiarised a lot of what I had previously posted here as your own thoughts when you were having your melt-down).
Ad-nauseum
This is the CBX board so let's keep it to CBX shall we?
When you posted under your previous name you were constantly ramping this share and encouraging people to buy at 15p. 14p, 13p and so on until you lost the plot. You shouted down anyone that had an alternative opinion to you and resorted to throwing out insults. You then did an about turn and started slating the company complaining how badly they were being run (and actually raised many points that I had previously raised as concerns). You then threw a huge hissy fit and said you were leaving this board in an attention-seeking dramatic fashion only to re-appear with a new name shortly afterwards. Why would you feel the need to do that?
My posting history is there for all to see - for obvious reason yours is not as you change opinions on the company as frequently as you change your user name.
Maybe explain why pointing out a "fact" posted in capital letters by someone is enough to rattle your cage? As I stated there are other CBG facial serums on the market (and available to be shipped to the UK) which was correcting the statement made that this is a unique product and first to market.
I will keep up the good work thank you
