Just saw that D.E Shaw have reported a short position of 0.5%. Nothing too crazy, but interesting to see someone who's actually committed to being on the other side of the bet.

I think the more you look at this, you realise that the FCA arguments were nothing out of the ordinary and the majority of them could have been reasonable argued. The main issue was that Amigo couldn't coherently explain to the judge why it was either SOA or bust, which is frankly unforgivable considering their hardball approach throughout. Very very poor showing by the BOD.

@Senator1 - I emailed something along the lines of this straight after the last court hearing. I put it to BOD that if these things are not materially relevant, then how could the board repeatedly state that the company would be forced into administration of the SOA is not granted. Needless to say, I haven't heard back.

You may want to check the price of the 7.625% bond however - the prices over the last week are interesting to say the least and you can make your own deductions

Agree soletrader, I'm not selling either. It would have been nice to have received a positive RNS this morning, but we have to play the hand we've been dealt. Its hard to disagree with the majority of the points the judge has made, of course, there are a couple which raise a few eyebrows. I'd be shocked if Amigo appealed, in my opinion there will be a restructure and corresponding shareholder dilution. I would say that Amigo shareholders have been let down by the Board and legal counsel here, but I really don't believe that this will go into administration.

Hi Mark - sorry just saw this. During that time I saw a number of bids minimum 250k shares at a range of low prices. Then they suddenly disappeared! Weird to say the least, I'm not sure if they pulled their bids totally or broke them up to bid higher prices. There's nothing to write home about right now, but if this goes to 16 I think there are some large buyers there!

Just saw around 500k shares being bid at around 16.405. The depth moved up since but it was definitely there!

Read the RNS - clearly says the Board of Amigo requested for share trading to be suspended.

The FCA didn't suspend the shares- Amigo requested for them to be suspended

@Mark1973 - I think will settle around 25% on the day. An RNS either way will change things though massively!

Can sell 600k shares at 16.5, 0.2 better than bid. There are clearly huge bids for the stock here, HOLD!

I would be stunned if this didn't tank tomorrow. For me, the BOD know it will tank and will show the judge how the market view Amigos position to be given the last court hearing. I honestly expect the share price to at least halve, would be nice if it went the other way though!
