@Jonno yep it does seem dubious how similar both percentages are. Like I said, there have probably been some conversations behind closed doors, but the nature of holdings themselves are quite different.

Guys I strongly doubt that Bybrook are "borrowing" JPMs shares here. Bybrook holdings are via CFDs only, meaning that they have no actual share ownership (and thus no voting rights) and in laymans terms, they are making an outright bet on Amigo's shares going up in price. JPM on the other hand have the majority of their holdings through conventional shares and a tiny position through equity swaps. Whilst it wouldn't surprise me if both parties have had conversations, I doubt that one is be financing the other

Hey Vinson - JPMs current holding is 33,150,336.00, approx 7.02%. Bybrook's is 30,862,541.00, approx 6.49%. The TR1s can be a bit confusing as they sometimes appear to double-count, but I'm pretty sure this is right.

Franky - you're right, ML provides a completely biased view. But remember. Martin's cult followers aren't those who are necessarily pro-capitalist and are more likely to be customers rather than shareholders of amigo. Unfortunately (but not unsurprisingly) we will be hearing lots from the likes of Martin, Stella, etc over the coming months. It's up to Gary and co to manage the PR and message they want to send.

Its a tricky one...I agree that the LTIP for management leaves a bad taste in peoples mouths. Not exactly what you need when you are dependent on your customers to pass a vote!
On the same token, I understand why management are doing this, as why would anyone want to work for a sinking ship without being compensated for the risk? In theory, the management team could potentially adjust these targets as part of their negotiations with the FCA. It may well be a good bargaining chip which shows further compromises by Amigo.

Agreed LTH, the press are circling around the management incentive plans like vultures at the moment. The further GJ and co are from getting those incentives , the more palatable the SOA will be for everyone to agree to.

I think Bybook's position is an outright bet, given that they have bought CFDs rather than physical shares. The CFDs don't give them any voting rights, unlike JPM who predominately hold stock and a minor position through cash-settled equity swaps. If either of these 2 firms (or any other firm for that matter!) buy more at the current prices, it would be definitely be a psychological boost, but I get the feeling that their buying is done for now.

Agree Seams. The board have been smart enough to understand that 700k previous customers will prefer to get something for nothing, which will outweigh the current 300k the debtcamel crew. Obviously the volumes I've mentioned are not completely accurate as some previous customers may vote no and some of the current ones may vote yes, but the percentages are in their favour
