It's possible LTC, but it doesn't meant that they have done that on the day of reporting the holding. It's this holding as well as the other directly owned Equities which previously pushed them over the notification threshold. Don't stress.

@Mark Aberforth sold their 5.78% holding a few weeks back and I'm guessing some of the MMs probably held onto it waiting for a nice uplift. Last time I checked Winterflood had 3m shares, no idea who held the other 16m!

Lets say the stock price tanks 40% tomorrow. Does that make Jimmy right and the saviour of this BB? Nope. Does it make Paul a 'pump and dump' merchant? Nope. As a shareholder, I'll be thr first to admit that I repeatedly checked Trustpilot and DebtCamel whilst the share price tanked to under 6p recently and was constantly wondering whether to just get out to at least get some piece of mind. But I made the decision to stay in and will now enjoy or suffer the consequences that lie ahead. Yes, I was pleasantly surprised to see the price jump today, but like most battle-worm Amigo shareholders, I take it with a pinch of salt because who knows what will happen tomorrow. Good luck all.

Yep that's very possible Prog, as there is no news to justify the movement. Has anyone here got L2 access to see how the bids/offers are lining up at all?

The absolute garbage written on the trust pilot site drives me mad! The only reason that I haven't posted on trust pilot is because the debtcamel/ambulance chasing/"its not my fault I'm in debt" would blatantly know that it's come from shareholders and Amigo has enough bad press as it is. On the same token, is there anything we can do to stop this avalanche of 'advice?' I was hoping Gary and Co at Amigo would have some ideas by now, because a one-off interview with BBC radio won't cut it.

Yeah that would make some sense. The price of this company beggars belief sometime, can't really call it either way but certainly not complaining about an unexpected rise. Lets hope this continues....

Exactly Posh79, this is why I don't understand the rise from circa £5 to where it is now. The market hates uncertainty and this company has a lot of it! I hope the OFGEM issue gets dealt with asap so that everyone can move forward, but can see this dragging on for a while.

For any other stock with the same story, the anticipated (less than stellar) results would be baked into the current share price. However, with the Amigo share price, it still finds a way to overreact and tank further even if the results are not worse than expected. Its annoying, but now I just shrug my shoulders and soldier on....

Agreed. For those who are looking to hold for the medium term, the day-to-day volatility is irrelevant. Of course, I'd be lying if I said that it still doesn't stop me checking the price every 10 mins haha.

Would be interesting if does. I can't see any news out there to explain why its moved significantly today, as its normally such a sleepy company in terms of shares being traded. Anyone with any ideas?

Well, what a great day so far eh? Some food for thought though - there have been almost 100 trades (ATs pretty much one after another) for 25k shares @7p. I've also seen a similar pattern with 7 concurrent trades for 150k shares @7p. Yup, today is doom and gloom, but someone out there is building a position (or at least I hope someone is!)

Ah, the good folk over at alliance news have issued a correction to their article. Journalism at its finest...

Hi all, quick regarding the complaints VREQ. In the Q1 results announced in August, the headline section clearly states that "Voluntary agreement (VReq) reached with FCA to resolve complaints backlog by 30 October 2020 and on track to meet this deadline". However, in today's Alliance News article this morning it states that "In May, the company had been given until June 26 to get on top of the backlog. This was extended until October 30 and subsequently to December 18." Is anyone else aware of the 2nd extension until 18th Dec or is this new news? Thanks
