Hi Mark, if there is no real news that comes out today, I would expect (or hope!) that this recovers at least 5-6% across the day, maybe finishing up around £7. I just find it difficult to believe that a 10% drop has come without any fundamental change to the company, but i'm hoping that im wrong

yes, there has to be some reason why has happened. If it is a leak, then this is shocking behaviour given that no news has been released and the market has been open for almost 1.5 hours

No idea. My first thought was that OFGEM had refused the settlement offered, but there is literally no news out there. Volume is relatively high at 170k shares already traded in the first hour, its very strange

The solid block just shows that there is little liquidity at the moment as no one wants to buy or sell at the current price. Volumes have generally been low in the stock for a while now, reflecting the lack of clarity and risk.

Hi Mark - no, what I mean is that they have lent out the shares to another firm (who is the borrower in this case). They still technically retain ownership and are entitled to the dividends. The borrower may (and I say may) have sold them onto the open market to try and benefit from a drop in price. All conjecture of course

The recent RNSs provide some food for thought. Looks like around 330k shares have been lent out by Liontrust on 25th October. Which could mean that they have been borrowed and sold short by another firm, that would at least explain the 5% drop in the price over the past week or so. On the flipside, a spanish outfit has increased their stake by 1% (to 17%) as of 20th October. Interesting movements to say the least. God knows when OFGEM will bother to release a statement, but it appears that investment firms could be gearing themselves up on the basis of an imminent decision

New vote as I understand it...the judge's (and the FCA's) issue the first time round was that claimants didnt have the required knowledge to understand what they were voting for. It would have been interesting if Amigo had lost the vote, as I doubt any judge or the FCA would have ruled that the claimants didn't understand the situation!

yeah....the 2x450k @1.22pm sells might have something to do with that

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm somewhat nervous when it comes to the vote. I know that last time it was a landslide, but I cant help but think it will be a lot closer this time given that voters may take the view that they were getting a bad deal from Amigo the first time round. This is especially the case if Amigo now promises a much larger level of redress. I still expect it to pass, but i dont feel it will be plain sailing

Looks like you made the right call Shanny, albeit from a potentially short term trading perspective. Either way, I'm holding and reinvesting the dividends, I still believe there is significant upside here

8/8.50 for me. But to be honest, it will depend on future results of the business, if its going well then why not hold for potentially higher gains? On the same token, if this recent rise is purely due to the ofgem settlement, its probably overdone.

I think that's wishful thinking unfortunately. The BOD were frankly arrogant and believed that there was no way that the SOA wouldn't pass in court, hence their complete lack of preparation and the ****show that ensued. They paid the price for this and are now having to do things properly. I still have a chunky holding, however, I can't say that I'm impressed with GJ or the board unless they can turn this situation around pronto

Results were pretty solid. But it appears to me that unless the results are spectacular, the market doesn't seem to like PSN compared to the other housebuilders
