Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Hmm thats true isn't it? @Crafty - are you still expecting a "major event" from now until the AGM in order for MM and BOD to remain in their positions? I recall you repeatedly saying that something has to happen otherwise they will lose support.
Nothing "major" has happened yet and they all seem to be sitting reasonably pretty.
Oh look at that.
The price just went up from 65.15 to 65.52 in a single trade. Do you want to write a post about how the price has gone up by 0.37p? Course you don't, because it doesn't fit your narrative.
Desperate.
So let me see if I've got this right Ste:
The share price drops: Ste/GTC and the rest spam the board with an avalanche of negative posts.
The share price rises: Ste/GTC and the rest spam the board with an avalanche of negative posts.
Desperate.
You're probably right Steve. I'll be honest enough to admit that I do "hope" CS is right whenever he posts (which shareholder wouldn't??) but I temper that with the fact that he's a nobody who consistently gets things wrong. He's just a distraction really, if that.
Anyway call is over. No pleasant surprises and no clangers, just as anyone would have expected (which is nice considering THG have a habit of throwing a spanner in the works).
SIH - I have no sympathy for anyone who invests on the basis of CS's tweets, unless they are literally new to investing.
Looks like it was another lame attempt from him to boost his followers/profile that has gone down like a lead balloon.
No-one said it was "good." It's just not the disaster that you are portraying. The share price over the last 20 minutes doesn't infer how the call is going I'm afraid to say.
Jeez Ste have YOU listened to any "real company analyst calls" either?
No-ones asked him to quote any figures. He cant (and wont) answer anything that he hasn't been asked. The BOD have come across a lot of more uninterested/abrasive in the past, I wouldn't say that they are doing the same here. They are certainly not setting the world alight by any means either, but hey, what exactly do we expect?
Agree yespsb. And MM has to take the blame for the opacity here. Apollo never announced a price, but MM wanted to stoke the fire further by mentioning that it they believed that 65p (circa) barely valued Ingenuity. If he really wanted to disclose an indicative price for the whole group he could have, or should have just left well alone. Blood man-child.
Kelso were metaphorically slapped down by MM once he and his pal bought stakes in their co. Lest we forget, this was a direct response to the letter they made public asking MM for changes. They're powerless and they know it.
I don't personally think that this warrants a 5% drop, given the overall picture of the results. One one side, there is the moan about revenues declining, on the other side, EBITDA is in better shape. Yes I know that debt has gone up a bit.
As I said previously, THG are stuck in no-mans land really. They can no longer classify themselves as an out-and-out growth company (as evidenced by the revenues) but the market doesn't want to value them on the basis of better overall metrics either. So he's got a long road in front of him in continuing to deliver better FCF until the market ascribes any decent valuation.
Unless there is a corporate event of sorts.
