Ok...so you are judging this on the first hour of trading of circa 500k shares?

We all know that MM doesn't inspire the confidence of anyone, however, to say that "its so clear that there are material or structural issues" is just drivel. The share price dropped yesterday by a similar amount...why wasn't it clear that there were material or structural issues then? Or when the SP rose on Friday...did those issues simply vanish?

Market sentiment for THG has been low for some time now. But, again, that doesn't mean that there are material or structural issues. Let's stick to the facts eh Ste?

A noticeably large trade was reported at 10.45am - 962,946 shares @ 53.03. Appears to be a sell, but who knows. Is someone getting out, getting in or reducing their short position? Answers on a postcard....

You have stated that the "bloomberg data is incorrect" as a fact. There is no proof of this. You have also stated that OVMK have confirmed their holding to you. There is no proof of this either.

Just like I have no proof of the quoted Bloomberg data or that I have received no response from OVMK. So all I have done is recommended that people contact OVMK themselves, which you have previously alluded to.

It's not difficult to understand: Don't take what other posters quote as gospel, it's better to do your own research.

1pencil - you said that you contacted OVMK and they confirmed that they still held their original position. I checked Bloomberg and it said otherwise. I then contacted them directly and they didn't respond.

It's not about your original post, it's about the fact that people should find out for themselves if they want to be sure. Contacting OVMK and getting confirmation is good way to go. Your original post has nothing to do with it.

Agree OSG. I guess it depends on OVMK's current strategy, fund performance and capital position, hence I'm not reading too much into their own position or what they choose to do next. It's been a tough old road for most investors in THG, not everyone can afford to stay put whilst sacrificing the opportunity cost of returns elsewhere.

Let's see what October brings...

With all due respect 1pencil, I'd trust Bloomberg over another poster. Not saying that you're wrong, but you're not able to provide any proof (and neither can I as I can't post screenshots). Each to their own. As I have said earlier, if you really want to be sure, get in touch with OVMK directly.

Could well be KBYK. I'll be asking my pal again to check the holdings (I don't like to do this often, but its been 3 months now, so am sure he won't mind!) and will let you know guys know if there are any material changes

If anyone genuinely wants to know OVMK's holding I would suggest either checking Bloomberg or better still, emailing them directly. Don't rely on this BB or other publications like Retail Gazette.....

@Steve and OSG, we've had this debate previously. Back on 19th June, one of the posters asked about OVMKs position and I asked a friend of mine to check his Bloomberg Terminal. This showed their holding being 0.3%, approx 4m shares. It was significantly down from their previous position. It's not correct to say that they have 'sold out' as we don't know what they have done since then. I did email them directly to ask about their position (as this was around the time of them publicly supporting KLSO on the chairman vote) but they never responded

They (as they always were) are powerless

Yes agree, I was on the call too and clearly heard the figure of 60m shares.

To the poster asking why Matt specifically focused on reasons why the Ingenuity demerger may not take place - he was asked this question by one of the analysts. He can hardly ignore the question.

Not entirely convinced of a huge increase today, but pleased nonetheless that there are some green shoots starting to come through. Slowly does it...

Pleased with Beauty's performance, not so much with Nutrition (online). But hey, you can't win them all!
