The Trump / Elon relationship is a difficult one to call..on the one hand Trump has him elevated to God like status and on the other is causing the EV market huge uncertainty and is not keen on forcing the auto market to turn green any time soon !!

We are caught between a rock and hard place ..the lack of no ratification is of no real consequence to the politicians because delays are second nature to them..the Piedmont situation will be the next hurdle after ratification if we get that which if we have to wait until the new government get their feet under the table could easily be into 25..which all leaves us quite vulnerable to a cheap bid unfortunately !

Fair value without ratification or a bid between where we are now and zilch..with ratification 20p ish..starting to build the processing plant 25 to 30..if Piedmont comes up with their share a bit more maybe but that is a bit of wishful thinking at the moment !!

To all intents and purpose it looks like the NDC are going to be the majority party and it is they who were making the noise about having better terms in one form or another..the problem is in the meantime is what is to become of the land that has been earmarked for the project..the farmers will want it back unless Atlantic compensate them whilst we still await ratification which is looking ever more likely not to be happening before the elections

They probably knew they could get the funds quickly and at not too much of a discount to the prevailing sp and as mentioned although they may have exceeded the 30% threshold as it is by arrangement ie fundraise they are not compelled to make a formal bid under asx rules..does not mean they won't though 😉

I don't doubt that is true and we are weaker in the short term from the shenanigans of Ghana Parliament so I would concede that if Assore were set on taking us out nowish is the time to do it !

I think that when a company like Assore in this situation has exceeded 30% by arrangement then the takeover panel can waive the necessity to make a mandatory offer

Given the above have once again damaged our sp by selling down their stake the least they could do with the funds raised is to pay us the money they owe !!

Oh I agree with you Ramon but politicians have got to be some of the most stupidest people on the planet..as I said before the urony of our situation is beyond belief..you have a company doing everything by the book , complying with all and sundry and signed a deal that will give back to Ghana the best return they have ever had..compare that to the million illegal miners carving up the environment who also decided that they did not want to join that scheme of paying tax !! I may be wrong but it would appear there is a concerted effort to thwart the running of parliamentary business covering many issues that is probably designed to be more beneficial to the NDC..but a bit like the situation in the UK if the Tories had not been so awful Labour would not have got in..similarly the list of very debatable issues plaguing the NPP has probably handed the election to the NDC ..I know you cannot necessarily draw parallels with Labour but it does demonstrate what an absolute shower of sh*t a new government with a bit of power can wreak on the nation !!

I am not sure about that swest..it is looking a bit unlikely that the NPP are going to be the governing party ..and the NDC may revoke the licence even if Parliament managed somehow to pass it before the election ..I am resigned to waiting after the election !

There is a bit of irony Ramon about the raise..when ALL had the previous fund call I think it was a bit of a defensive move on behalf of the BOD to protect us from another bid from Assore or another.. I really don't think they had planned for this huge delay and thus having to raise at a much lower price it really is a bit of an irony that Assore have somewhat ' bailed ' us out to the tune of £ 4 million ..I am sure once we get ratification other announcements will be made..however when that will be is anyones guess !

I did raise the question recently about Piedmont if we were ready to go and they were not !! Hmmm
