Yes they had so much news coming up in the last quarter and then nothing..obviously everything hinged on the ratification !

A little bit painful watching the sp at the mo..would be helpful to know if any fruitful discussions have taken place between the BOD and the powers that be but we know everything is in slow motion in Ghana so nothing would surprise !!

I thought Re Element in partnership with Techgulf were building the lithium refinery in Ghana and it was originally due to be completed in 2025 although that date will probably get pushed back..if Ghana want to have some hard rock to feed into it the NDC want to give themselves a good talking to and tell ALL to get on with it !!

I am still optimistic that we can get a satisfactory deal out of this and with mining contributing about 950million towards Ghana gdp last year I don't truly believe they will leave it in the ground !

I agree stockcheque there is an unbelievable naivety with some of the politicians and how they speak but hopefully they will have to tow the line from the powers that be once a deal is thrashed out

And as part of the review I believe in tandem with the Green Minerals legislation was how the improvements to royalty percentage and community fund 1% came about

Lol I really don't think the terms go faster , get a move on or just plain hurry up are used very frequently in Ghana !

I agree it is very frustrating but in the grand scheme of things if and a big if the NDC are onside with ALL and are prepared to work with them for the greater good of Ghana and investors alike we may not have lost that much in progress given the spodumene price decline ..but we will see

Also when Koranteng became a non exec director his comments in the Rns of 24th jan 2024 would hopefully resonate with any incoming new MIIF representative..I assume the Director position is left open on the basis of the whole agreement which would therefore still entail MIIF investing the 2nd part of subscription and taking up 6% stake

I am absolutely sure conversations have been had but these things always take time

The problem is when you have been invested in the story for so long and can see the potential which ALL still has it is sometimes difficult to sell even though you probably know the shares are going to go down..hey ho not dead in the water yet ..I remember us being stuck at 8p when Ironridge for what seemed like eternity but that was at the beginning of the lithium journey..lets hope an agreement is reached with the NDC and we can continue to get the mine built and be profitable for all..probably going to be a bumpy road thiugh !

Wishing I had followed what I suggested might happen when the shares were 18p and sold !! Oh the joys of investing on Aim and in Africa !

I guess we will only get a new non exec from MIIF if they are going to subscribe to the rest of the agreement otherwise they will not be entitled to one.. Although Edward koranteng seems to be very well connected including the Bank of Ghana I wonder if he could still be of help to us and maybe that is why we have as yet had no resignation..I do think we should have an update given all that has gone on even if nothing really to tell..communication is key
