The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
A little bit naive there maidit with regards to the 'unexpected ' funding..one of the main reasons why companies are on Aim is to appeal to a wider investment market and indeed raise cash and most tech startups which Mos effectively is chew through it in copious amounts ..in addition when trying to expand their business model very often do not make a profit..certainly not unexpected to be honest imo..would have liked a little bit more progress with announcing contracts before cash call but it is what it is
This is one you would want to see to production..very little dilution , huge resource and shallow near surface ..if the price of spod is anywhere near todays price when we produce ALL will be awash with cash and hopefully be returning it to shareholders in dividends
One thing I have learn't is never be afraid to take a profit..probably a bit tougher to take a hit but makes sense more when it is a bit of a gamble rather than an educated investment like ALL ..if you put all the positives together they should comfortably weather this downturn and come up smelling of roses on the other side..they have got the finance both in their own treasure chest and also Piedmont involvement but more importantly they have got what everyone else in the lithium space wants..personally good time to be adding in small measures which is what I am doing
Who knows for sure what they are but if a deal is a normal bargain processed in the normal way then it should not be difficult for it to be marked ' o '..i have been trading for years and mine have always been marked o ..just uncanny that many of the smaller trades go through as AT followed by ordinary trades..most instis use bots for much of their trading although that does not mean that there is no interference from humans..I accept some smaller trades could be brokers selling clients shares to cover fees that are marked AT but more often than not when a number of small trades appear followed by purchases of bigger numbers they are carried out by bots and hence some would class that as manipulation even if it only allows them to get their trades in ahead of the game
But is that not the point Q..the use of autobots and AI gives traders an advantage that through the speed of the equipment can make decisions much quicker than humans to dictate trends..probably why so many trading floors have replaced personnel with computers..the thing is the pi will always be the last to know
lol oil you may have just been airing your frustrations but it is not exactly a one off is it ? as every time I see you have posted I have always been minded to ask you to change your name to Mr Angry ! Probably is of no help to the bb ranting but more importantly your blood pressure !! I am ready with my tin hat on..fire away !!
Think I made the comment not so long ago that Mos was effectively like a tech startup and they continually need financially feeding..however 33% discount hurts and it looks like it is all going to be an uphill struggle for small pis to realize any decent return any time soon..unless of course they get taken out which often is the intention of those at the helm to grow their startups and then sell
I have not read the article in full but it always puts me off when there is a glaring error in the first paragraph as the main purpose of the listing was not as suggested to raise finance , in the first instance anyway
