I agree NH was far too optimistic ahead of news but you only have to look at home to see how politicians thrive on stifling action and I still believe if the lease had been ratified with the NPP in goverment it would have been revoked by the NDC ..also I am not so sure they have lost the offtaker but maybe a little bit more of negotiating to be done !

Redundancies must have started at least in November as Keith Muller stated in his AGM statement..the delay in ratification accentuated by subdued lithium pricing environment has forced us to make significant cuts across the business including to our employee headcount.

Yes they have laid off workers !

Bagbin and the NDC are left leaning ..we can expect nothing else ! They can chat sh*te ad infinitum !

We have got caught between a rock and a hard place but it is what it is and not irreparable from here..as I have said before it is probably better this way round that we work with the NDC to get an agreement now for the long term rather than what was a possibility of getting ratification under the previous government only for the NDC to throw a spanner in the works

I agree that NH got well ahead of himself when posturing about all the positive things going to happen before the end of 24 and think I cautioned at the time about being over confident and optimistic but now is not the time for asking for him to be removed . we will need him more than ever to negotiate Atlantics path from hereon

Lol no wonder there is no activity because the politicians don't turn up and ratify the licence..the project loses momentum and has to lay off staff..they cannot relocate any of the locals until they get the go ahead and if he kept up with news he would know the procrastination of the powers that be have meant the smaller dmc process has been knocked on the head ..I hope the incoming NDC have a better idea of running a country than the sh*t show we have here !!

I agree and would hope conversations have already taken place to bring this to a speedy conclusion although I also think there will be a bit more sp pain !

May have been a bit of both Teddy..it would of made sense for Neil abd the team to have made contact with the relative committee of the new government to see what they are going to require ahead of ratification vote but the Christmas holiday may have got in the way of that !

I thought it interesting the bit about collaboration on mapping..is that so they can have a central database on discovered lithium just in case they fall out with the company that found it in the first place 😀

I would imagine it will go back down if the NDC want to renegotiate the terms of the agreement which they have said they would do if they got in to power..big risk selling up and then it gets ratified and on the other hand sell at 18/19 and then the above happens and it goes back down to 11 ish and you kick yourself !

I agree Swest..there is not much else that could have been done regarding parliament delays and certainly not a spiralling spod price but if an agreement can be made with the NDC we can get back on track uninterrupted and hopefully this project can move forward to fruition

Can you explain how it was fraud and in what way it differs from many other Aim companies ?
