I honestly don’t know, but for me it’s important not to fixate on the commodity price as it is in constant flux and the actual price that SQZ receives is probably not the one you see flashing on the screen. Price trending higher is obviously a good thing (hedges aside) but when the price gaps up and down intra-day is, to my mind, just noise. If you want to ‘invest’ in an energy company, then a trader’s mindset towards the commodity price is a distraction. Of course, one can ‘trade’ the company’s stock, but that is a pretty blunt method that can work but might not. I suspect it works more by luck than judgment. Just my approach…
