If they need more money than the £750m currently being negotiated then it seems like a bad sign for shareholders to me.

They raised £350m at £5 a share in May so roughly 40 percent down from the placing price.

Valirx - Little cash and high wages and the lths may have maked out their averaging down pot of funds. They are doing another Investor Evening soon. Unless there is significant news soon they might have to consolidate yet again to get a share raise away as the nominal value of the shares is 0.1p. As they have recently stated (28/06 RNS):

'As previously announced, the Company's working capital position is dependent on new funds being made available to it and it continues to manage its working capital position carefully.'

To me that is a bigger red flag than I can wave but then again, I am risk averse at the moment.
