I would rather be classified as a 'weirdo' than be 'hopin' to get my investment back on a share that has tanked past the recapitalisation price. Some say 'the trend is your friend'; some say 'do not catch falling knives [unless they are made of rubber].

Brexit uncertainty is not a friend of banking shares and the market is not in love with Metro Bank - I doubt that the significant shareholders will inject more capital unless they take the company off the market. In that case...

And they have the cheek to use the hashtag #gatwickgusher for 'over 200 bopd'?

Surely they would tweet over 250 or 300 etc if the production rates were higher? I acknowledge that the well keeps flowing sweet water free oil during testing but 200 bopd is not a gusher to me.

On ANGS homepage they state:

Ummmmmm - just how many barrels of oil do they produce each day and how much does the UK consume? I am sure a few might find other points in the statement to be dubious.

It would not surprise me if the OGA require ANGS to raise funds for the development of the Poundland gas field before they approve the acquisition transaction. If they previously 'thought' that the £2.5m was sufficient then they will have to raise around that amount.

With a £6m mcap what price would they have to offer the shares at to get that size placing away? In the event of no other news in the meantime it would have to be at a significant discount.

No, the share price was last at 4p in early May but Woodford only announced that his fund was barring withdrawals on the 3rd of June. The share price had already dropped to 3p by then...

Were they not suggesting that they could use the £2.5m to reconnect the gas? Now where will the money come from?

The ECB move is more like itching dust being thrown into your eyes than spice in your food - we are in turbulent political and economic times.
