IMM did a licensing deal with Avion with NO upfront payment and yet here we are a couple of years later with practicaly no imput from Avion ...

The original patents are co owned by the CNRS and IMM but as i mentioned yesterday, no mention of the CNRS in this new patent application ( read the Rns ) which is curious , ( and therefore open to speculation) ...left side news to come ? Or just ommision ?

Whilst IMM and the CNRS are joint owners of the original p140 patents , no mention of them , this time,makes me wonder 🤔

I would have liked IMM to provide us with an estimate of the percentage of this new subset in the overall auto-immune patient population 🧐

To determine the market potential ..

Anyway, we are still on a long road before getting to the market , imv , except on the diagnostic side which is where i believe the next news should come from ..

If IMM was a private company they would probably not have survived ...

They have survived this far mainly due to Landstead...

Having said that , the future may bring that option if they sign a deal in the coming months .

A significant upfront payment would mean that they wouldn't need any more Landstead deals and change the way that IMM are perceived by the market .

After many many years in biotechs, I will say that it's one of the most risky sectors to put one's money into.. The contrast between reality and the dreams is considerable so i agree with Wigwammer, biotechs are for punters , not investors ... ( Only put in money that you can afford to loose ) because that is the likely result .. Some may get lucky and make a return but they are far a few between 🤞.
