" strict regulatory approval, being a non-intrusive diagmostic test as opposed to a treatment? If not, there's a much quicker route to market and first revenue (valued at $10b annually) while P140 is going through trials (valued at ยฃ100b annually, for a 20 year patent life). This would be INCREDIBLE and would surely put a straight acquisition more into focus, because any P140 approval/success risk is underwritten by hard diagnostic revenue."
Just one comment to make ๐ค
Without FDA market approval for the P140 therapy , can you possibly see ( outside just for clinical trial purposes ) what would be the Market for the diagnostic test for type M ?
If there is no specific treatment available why would doctors even bother to prescribe ?
Putting the horse before the cart ?
But having said that , they will need to get it done at some stage even though not much revenue from it until a treatment is authorized ๐ imo
