If you have anything outside an ISA investment wise and you sell, any gains over £6k are subject to CGT.

Bedding is simply a way to instruct an institution to sell ready for transferral into your 20k ISA allowance every year.

No way getting round the CGT.

…. You’ll still have to pay CGT on any gains (currently over £6k) you’ve made from non ISA investments whether you bed them or not.

And with spreads in mind, I’m royally annoyed at what TUI has done to me over the last few months so I ventured back to a spread [IG] (something I’ve not done in years) and got 10% in 3 days.

At 452p, I’d highly recommend a spread on that at 3pt for a quick win.

Getting in once news is out there means buying at a higher price. With your spreads, I’d suggest you put 20% in every time it falls. But that’s me, not advice.

From what I heard a month or so ago, it’s a 100% RR SMR LTD contract.

Time is being taken to ensure layers word it correctly so they’ll be no justifiable complaints from other tenders.

Kewjosh has successfully shorted RR on two (maybe three) occasions I’m aware of.

His way of working isn’t something I can do (I’m not clever enough) but he’s been correct every time.

as of 12 september 2023, i've decided to paws (ok, pause) operations due to rr (rolls royce plc) having zero morals when it comes to accepting funding from qatar.

rr smr ltd and now rr plc seem happy to accept funding from qatar, a state that:

under the guardianship system, women still need the permission of a male guardian, usually their husband, father, brother, grandfather or uncle, to marry, study abroad on government scholarships, work in many government jobs, travel abroad if aged under 25 and access reproductive healthcare.

family law discriminate against women, including making it difficult for women to seek a divorce, and placing women at a severe economic disadvantage if they sought a divorce/if their husband left them.

the penal code criminalizes a range of same-sex consensual sexual acts. article 296(3) punishes with imprisonment anyone who “leads or induces or tempts a male, by any means, into committing an act of sodomy or debauchery”. great place to be a ******* then?

oh wait... the recent world cup in qatar, players were threatened with on-field sanctions if they wore pro-lgbti rights armbands. fans had rainbow items confiscated, and a few journalists were harassed for showing their support of lgbti people.
