A quick reply to “onlyonewhufc”; I wish I had that power. RR is a 17% retail stock, so even if plebs like you and I sold everything, the SP wouldn’t move a jot.

I’m just focused on this horrible situation in Israel/Gaza. Moved beyond words, as I’m sure we all are.

Worried about an escalation - Israel flatten Gaza with 360.000 troops, Iran then have incentive to attack Israel, Israel then call on international help and we’re all well and truly fudged.

Talking about small percentage rises in shares seems a little irrelevant right now.

i need to change that - in my blog, i suggest smr is a huge thing (so why am i ****ging it off here?). investors other than retail (but maybe retail as well) will not see the dichotomy i've pointed out and i'm sure rr plc won't share the "win" from rr smr ltd even though it won't hit the balance sheet for many years (if ever).

So next time someone posts "SMRs looking great for RR!" - can we have the knowledge to educate them that it just isn't so.

SMR will be massive and RR will get near to 100% (I was told 100% until EDF got through on the six).

Looks like a minor split with them now. Others four are out already. That was simply a tickle from the government to make it look fair.

But EDF is the worry. French state owned company already sorting the Nuclear sites in the UK.

What they don't have is second grade approval from Europe. RR SMR LTD do.

Either way, we'll see what funnels through to RR PLC.

Now you may hate me for calling some crap AIM stocks but I'm fed up of people thinking RR SMR LTD is the same stock you invest in here.... it's not!

This is actual fact, not my opinion. RR SMR LTD is a LTD company part owned by QIA which is a Qatar state owned company.

What does that mean?

It means anything left on the balance sheet (profit) from RR SMR LTD will be given to RR Holdings PLC for us to scratch around to raise the RR Holdings SP.

I shouldn't have to type this, but we know that a limited company will try and reduce profits (usually through R&D) to maximise internal share bonuses. And then we have Qatar. They will reap all profits.

So, those thinking that the SMRs are awesome for RR Holdings are sadly wrong. They are only decent when investors look at PR over balance sheet.

I said it back then, and I'm sorry to say it again. Fundamentally, the SMRs will do jack to RR Holdings balance sheet for many years. Qatar will grab the profits, those within the RR SMR LTD company will feel hard done by and grab what they can.... the very finite remnants will get through to Tufan, and he'll bonus them.

And that's from a cat, who apparently knows nothing!

... my point is, they haven't invested - they own it, along will RR SMR LTD, which is NOT RR Holdings PLC (the shares we own).

I state this a few month/years ago that fell on deaf ears.

RR Holdings PLC is what we invest in.

RR SMR LTD is a LIMITED company partly owned by (and massively funded by QIA ( Qatar Investment Authority)).

Qatar Investment Authority is a state owned entity of Qatar.

Now you tell me if/when retail RR Holdings PLC shareholders will get a glimpse of that cash?

We're subject to pension funds liking the idea that money from the East have got involved to raise the SP and absolutely NOTHING to do with the profits from RR SMR LTD.

Hopefully, these funds will think it's one big ball park and maybe even get the cars in there!

Trust me, as a balance sheet, RR SMR LTD will pay zero to RR HOLDINGS PLC (what we hold shares in) for many years to come.

Qatar will get direct profits due to QIA being a state entity.

Lets just hope pension funds are stupid enough to fall for it (in the UK).

Qatar are actually a joint owner in RR SMR LTD under Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), which is a wholly owned by the Government of the State of Qatar.

And Negs, just to give a bit of balance here. I got a message from a chap who told me he 'missed the Kod.l boat at 0.09p and only managed to get in at 0.14p.' He, on his own merits, got his family involved.

The message was to thank me for my heads up and that it really changed their lives (they obviously put more in than I did).

I take no credit for that as much as I take no credit for any losses people suffer by following WHAT I DO!.

People follow what I do, lovely, but it's their choice.

I humbly apologise to anyone who's lost money.... from listening.... to a cat!

More importantly Steve (et al), never listen to cats like me if you haven't done your research - I have my own agenda in terms of end goal. It's a very boring mathematical algorithm I sorted back in 2020 so I understand why people get frustrated with just 'nipping in' on one or two shares I may follow that end badly.

As many on here will tell you - DYO (do your own research)... it's really not that hard to set an end goal, start with a realistic SP raise and adjust throughout.

But I really shouldn't have to be telling anyone that.

I don't advertise my percentage of shares on my portfolio blog, but I'm sensible enough to have the vast majority in the likes of RR etc.

I suggest I'm personally 'punting' on such stocks I see gaining massively (usually AIM) and some work, some don't.

By 'punting', I mean a small amount to see what happens - I expect anyone of any knowledge to understand the risks in those punts. Kodal for instance was a punt, and proved to be extremely lucrative (I wish I invested more now) but those the beans.

I have the cash to 'punt' on these shares and so I do with no issues and if/when they don't go the way I want them to - I've lost a little money.

I'm careful with my words and I always suggest 'punt' when I am just about to do so on these win or lose shares.

Moreover, I offer no advice Steve. I tell people what I'M DOING and I'm very open about that. People may or may not take my share dealings as opportunities they wish/or wish not to get involved in - that's up to them.

All I know is that I'm 60% up from 2020 and I'm on track for my 2025 goal.

And I will promote my blog as often as I can - read it or don't - your choice dude.

Newbies won’t get the fact we all said this at 85p.

Remember when we got over £1? Not long lived but it was a community of LTH willing the SP to get over that £1 mark.

The majority of us said back then that was a milestone, soon to 120p, soon to 140p, then it dropped again pre £1.

Oh, to be able to buy more sub £1? Well, we did chaps. Hence the average of 92p (I bought at 185p back in 2020).

So will we have the same again at the £2 barrier?

Buy and hold (LTH), set a goal (mine is Feb 2025, always has been since my initial purchase in 2020), and relax.
