Not sold and still awaiting news - my fear with these scenario's is that I end up staying on duty here looking, long after you all move on - only to be discovered years later still pining for a deal - like Japanese soldiers being discovered on pacific islands in the 1950's who dont know the war is over.

Hopefully some people in the know taking up positions prior to a JLP RNS tomorrow in regard to one of; Cyprus deal, new resources secured (my favourite would be a sweeping Zambia tailings deal with the government backed companies), news on revised throughput of Inyonyi, news on copper production, timeline for cobalt production, and on, and on.....

Lol - but very true!

In regard to the separate company - I would imagine this is simply a tax avoidance measure for the directors. Currently their earnings fall under the KR1 PAYE scheme. However if their new company invoice KR1 for consulting and management services rendered, then they do not have their money taxed on KR1 payroll. Within their new company owned only by themselves they can then pay nominal salaries but more crucially pay themselves dividends - allowing a reduction in tax due. They cant pay divi's at KR1 without giving them to all shareholders.
The only concern I have is whether they are able to undertake further non-KR1 work - however, that is still a possibility even as a director of the firm so not stressing too much.
As to listing, I feel a small comfort that the boys intend to carry on doing their job and not retiring to yachts in the med. If they plan to exit, stage 1 of planning will be to get the optimal listing for share price - that is the LSE or even AIM. So I dont realise the full value, but hope the status quo indicates that our moneymakers are happy to carry on as is.

There is a lot to agree with in that post. However not everyone’s timelines for investing are the same and therefore frustration can arise for those who need or desire to reallocate capital when recognition of progress in the share price lags.

Only one bit I disagree with - shares are not a casino - asset allocation and risk profiling definitely required but there are far riskier things to do with your capital including the opportunity cost of not being invested.

On one thing we all agree though, this is a bargain and we all want that rise to start.

Agree 100% Fireblade - why pay $50k for a BTC when you can within an ISA or a sipp get access to a company here that produces BTC at $8k a pop.

There may be a drop if shorters sway, but at end of October we will be well above where we are now. All negative noise now is being used to find a better buy position or to support shorts - not to be trusted - end of October is hardly a long wait.

The peer review will give a good indication of the excitement level we should hold for the drug.

The commercial deal we were told was in play from much earlier than the latest result (June?) so I was much more expectant of a deal on results.

I havent sold any here as yet and dont plan to before a commercial deal is announced, but a feel a little in the dark and as such uneasy without either of the above collaterals - from the share price, it would seem I am not alone in that view.

I am in agreement too. Fantastic buy price. Its just the general freak occurance risk that is stopping me buying more at present - i am already fairly deeply invested in the 16's 17' and 18s. Barring frauds, government intervention or unknowns of that nature - I am very compfortable that you will make v good money buying here in the 15's. At lest a double bagger in the next 12 months, if not next 6.

For a prospective investor there is scant little in regard to our future - its a long search. In addition to the projects, their timelines and the resultant expected cashflows, I would very much like to see a summary of the tailings resources we have secured, the prospective timeline of operations tyhis will drive and the expected recoverable value already contained within them. All of that in a concise (dare I say even broker note) and kabooom! Personally I wouldnt (and didnt) leave these messages to a broker to collate - I used to do all the work for them so that they could shamelessly take it and run with it. In terms of investment (and assuming our finance lead isnt quite up to it) - the cost to provide this is 1 x Commercial Finance Director - £140k p.a. gets a good one in London. The return to shareholder value in unlocking the value of the company is many many multiples of this.)

I agree your remarkably concise summary THGambler. The portfolio is at best meh, with the tension all on the trial.

Green metals processor reprocessing legacy mining tailings. Currently producing PGM's and Chrome in SA and just starting scaled up production on Copper in Zambia with view to get to 30000tonnes within a year. Cobalt production also being initialised but both Copper and Cobalt not factored into current share price of 16p ish. Further, it has secured tailings to process that contain an eyewatering amount of resource so all the supplyside worries (and RM cost) are already accounted for.

Just under $13m p.a. revenue at present (at $70 per barrel) - this is the key for me - how quickly do extra wells add into this - the expansion of the cashin flows is key to the enhancement of shareholder value here. Very excited to see this expand exponentially in the next few months.

Agree also and maybe thats the crux of the missing element in regards to JLP share price. We are all onboard and whilst we would like more detail we have distilled a very bullish view from the enormous growth here and the resultant cash inflows that should occur - we know the direction is up, just not the exact route and I am reluctantly okay with that.

What for me is missing is still some more operational support for Leon but moreso, a talented FD with a junior who can under Leon's guidance produce project summaries and from that really compelling collaterals to tell the growth story to potential new investors - with that coverage i really believe we would already be in the thirties - this market expects to be spoon fed news. Those who like to forage in the AIM undergrowth for juicy morsels are already here. :)

Agree there are a lot of potential triggers. I am hoping for the copper production update, a revised broker note and of course news on another deal in Cyprus - in the next week or so would be ideal.
We are due a strong share price run - its just what the trigger will be I think.
I think we can get to mid twenties price and still consider ourselves very cheap. I am relaxed as in I dont worry, but also impatient - bad passenger syndrome I suppose.

Slater probably read the bb and saw the excitement on cobalt - this is getting very exciting.

I have to admit, i am really a little surprised we have drifted back to almost our old stomping ground and not a little frustrated.

Whilst we dont have the commercial deal signed yet, the biggest risk was poor results. Therefore I would of expected us to rerate in this "inbetween phase to 0.1+. If the results were poor we would probably have bombed back to 0.05 or therabouts.

Given the involvement of Chris (if you had to name a deal maker in pharma - who would you put ahead of him) Evans, the Saudi wealth fund, and a government desperate to fix covid and kiss saudi a***'s then surely this is a perfect storm isnt it?

Evan's finds a stalking horse (who know they wont win but get to grind AZ)to gain a rival bidder, AZ buyback the drug at astronomical deal to save embarrassment of the wonder drug not being theirs and for the positive PR, UK government grants its emergency use, and literally everyone - everyone is a winner! (but us especially ;)

I would normally say that the above is far-fetched but not with the people involved here. Saudis will get what they want (unless its a football club...)

We need to get these figures out there. My only assumption as to why we are not doing so is to not hinder any future tailing acquisitions.
I am only partly tongue in cheek when I say we are rich. The valuation on assets under control of JLP is going to be staggering.

Thats also why I was wondering if anyone has a list of the JLP owned tailings and their likely content - would be good to tweet some of this and gain some publicity. If we were an exploration company, an element to our valuation would be in the future potential of the discovered assets. Here at JLP we have assets and I dont think the potential is in any way being considered.
