Good news.

Is there anyone on here, with knowledge of how to, and the willingness to do so, who can advise on movements in shorting positions? I am presuming that they will have closed to a greater or lesser extent but would appreciate anyone with evidence of this being the case.

The RNS clearly alluded to ACAM maintaining a position in JLP and since then we have had a TR1 and now on the website. Ie these shares arent likely to imminently flood the market - the original premise of our hairy appendaged fellow BB contributor.

The question is, does oil recover with lifting of sanctions? Russia have forced Germany to find an alternate energy route over time and in the short term, public opinion is likely to remain vehermently anti Russia whilst Putin remains in power. Unless any terms of ceasefire are not advantageous to Russia, I cant see public opinion shifting. Equally, Putin is all in as he wont look weak on any terms and equally he realises he would have to look very weak to remove sanctions and shift western opinion (so weak in fact that he would probably get toppled). So we are unfortunately here, at best, for the long term unless there is a regime change - even then it would need Putin to die or be arrested for war crimes in order to sate Western hostility to Russia.
Oil price is therefore dreaming a little bit imho. I sincerely hope I am wrong btw.

I applaud those looking to be heard to support this lady. However, what does success for this initiative look like? Publicity for EUA whose LTH's carrying this out? Surely thats potentially detrimental to EUA and counterproductive to EUA who it seems are keeping their heads down at this time.
How about we write letters of support (cc in Amnesty Intl, or if share buying is your choice, might I suggest Evraz :).

I am not anti-stance - I have donated to Ukraine govt and supported the refugee work and can also recognise the plight of this lady but i dont think this should be linked to EUA in any way.

I hope you are right Dan. However I am not sure that last Aprils spike will be an annual event. Last April I believe we were swept up by NFT fever - the profits flowing out of Argo, Microstrategy and KR1 were looking for new areas of blockchain exposure within the SIPP / ISA environment. This is when and why I invested - getting in at the bargain price of about 18p after the initial spike subdued. I will also freely admit that I was riding the wave and didnt DD as I normally do.

Despite some shortgivings on the Gibralter stamp NFT (wtf!) - I held and then i even added again at circa 6p - based on Indorse and Blockbots project.
i track the discord group for blockbots and there are 30000 followers but it hasnt been rising to launch and showed very little spike at all on the India newspaper add. So hoping Blockbots rises once launched - April could happen - but not holding my breath - i think full game launch for Blockbots is Q2.

Each time that JLP has diluted - the funds have been used to fund expansion with fantastic ROI. We are getting nearer and nearer to our cashflow allowing expansion without the dilution and will definitely be in receipt of mighty net cash inflows in 12 months (as opposed to the simply strong positive cashflows currently achieved from PGMS and chrome. Therefore I think that dilution will become less relevant.

The share price will bounce upwards hard on good copper news and as such the shorters are risking a lot - hence the posts to try and deter LTH from scooping up bargains here and reversing the slide in SP. Very transparent.

The depressing news - Russian diamonds will find a market - either via China or even more sadly India. I say depressing as this has the potential to lessen the impact on Russia of Sanctions.

The uplifting news - PDL dont need to commercially care . The upward momentum of prices with Russian supply allowed was already occurring (after reduced supply via mines shutting) and a revisit of demand - i dont see these factors changing at present and as such we should be headed for significant cash inflows for the foreseeable future. All the Russia diamonds still going to market does is stop a massive spike in price - its not needed - the forecast cashflows are pretty strong, no, very strong without the Russia impact and as such we will rerate on SP over the next couple of years.

For me, the faith has not yet waivered or even been strongly tested, but my frustration at what I perceive to be a lack of acknowledgement by the market of our potential - now in the near term from copper; and at our BoD's failure to communicate the prospects and progress better is where I am having the difficulty.
This last 9 months has been a frustrating time! Still confident it will rise soon.

Chr*st, DDDD's been such a regular for so long for the shorters that when we uptick and they have to find pastures new, they'll have to have a leaving do for us!

I agree obmuj - think we may bang our head on 7p this afternoon.

Hopefully word may spread that we are about to rise - there were a lot of people watching this patiently waiting for uptick. If we can get into upper 30's this afternoon I think that would be a really strong signal that we have turned.

That deicison is past and I am not interested to revisit and review so other than this reply not spending any time on it whatsoever. If you next question is "Do i have confidence in the JLP BOD to increase my shareholder value" - then my answer is yes.

Rather than the abbatoir, Bushy, the JLP bull is in the arena and you are sitting at the restaurant next door, napkin on, waiting to get a taste of its stewed dumplings. However the sword you are confident that the matador is carrying might be way too small, blunted or even remain stuck in the scabbard - thus won't harm the bull. The dumplings you are served are quite likely going to be a lot smaller than you were expecting.
Much more exciting than an abbatoir though!

I wouldn't want to bank on the ACAM shares all hitting the market and lowering price anytime soon. ACAM are keen for more business (as per the RNS) and JLP will have a better finance provider selection this time around - therefore ACAM need to be nice or at least courteous to JLP - if they were to dump all their shares on the market at once, i don't think they would retain the business. Suspect they will agree a steady sell down with agreement to dump more if we get a share run in the short to medium term and ACAM would honour that till new loans placed.
Suppose we will see in the next few months which way it goes.

Bushy is of course entitled to his position and view. For myself, I think from this 16p consolidated range that JLP have spent the last period enjoying, it would be a real error to sell at this point. The ACAM settlement has been known for some time (since the loan was created)and is just imho being used as a talking point to try and get holders to sell to opportunistically drop the price in the short term. The future is bright here and i think we will start to motor upwards into the 20's on share price again very very soon.

With the current reversal of US policy I dont think we will have a share price in 2 years - think we will be bought before then. Hopefully hit 30p though before we exit stage left.

I hope you are right - that would be great news. I ask this next question from a point of ignorance - what benefit does ZPHR get by delaying the CPR whilst negotiating? Wouldnt you want the CPR to add vim to the negotiations - ie that it is worth the larger organisation negotiating in earnest? If this CPR forced anothers hand, well to my way of thinking that is no bad thing either.
Either way, very happy to continue to hold here.
