I am completely flumoxed by our price being here at sub 5p. Oil forecast to stay high adn that was without the Russia Ukraine conflict. We have revenue and prospect to grow that revenue via already funded activity based on oil at $70 - so a super premium return of well over $20 per barrel of oil at moment. All operations in safe location of USA
What is spooking market to not grab a few here?

The SP weakness isnt just down to the seller. Its down to the fact that all investors know there is a seller and as such no-one is buying until the price lowers further.

Good volume, good interest on twitter and good underlying value - I am optimistic that the share price will be banging on 40p this afternoon - whether it breaks through or not though will be dependant on the level of interest. If it breaks 40p - we will be swept along I believe for the rest of the week.

To be fair old bee, I have yet to see a Simply Wall Street valuation that isnt wildly optimistic - if my holdings would respond to their valuations in full, my prettiest PA would currently be taking this dictation from the largest of my private Bermudian Islands.

I believe the Mauritania project ands all "green hydrogen" projects are underpinned buy the power source for the hydrogen and ammonia creation being from a renewable source - that is why North Africa is so appealing. Predictable seasonal winds for wind power, sunny, and most crucially lots of non-agricultural, unused and hence cheap land on which to build.
The game changer with green hydrogen and ammonia moreso, is taking renewable power and converting it to an easily transportable and storeable energy source, at a scale that to dater has been unprecedented. I do feel this is the future for Europe and Africa and bodes well.

I think you are right Botak - dont normally advocate divi's but a real reason to do so here;
Even if they agree to distribute 10-20% of staking gains, it would have a very strong impact and emphasise the income stream of staking rather than solely the volatile asset prices.

Hopefully as you say, they will square up to market / selling this tech - ultimately if its better, lets get it into use for patients - I would take that win over any other financial gain for Accustem. Cmon GC put your efforts where your heart lies and get this to the market one way or another.

The stated strategy of the BOD, the stated RNS releases of DD completion, the continued engagement of the company to Russia governance in order to release licences. This is further backed by the engagement of UBS and DLA piper and subsequently recently further evidenced by the legal splitting of the company to allow clean sale of the elements to be sold versus those to be retained.
What makes you think there wont be a sale - can you give structure to that basis or will you just make noise?

Held here for well over a year - With China and Russia seemingly close at present, if our DD cleared buyer is Japanese, I worry that this situation my make them rethink their strategy - they may not worry about Russia per se but China they do - as such they need to keep sweet with USA and Nato powers and would be expected to honour any sanctions imposed on Russia. Whether this resolves from here with minimal bloodshed or not, I fear dmage may have been done to a non-Russian/Chinese buyer.
Very disappointing for me, but small beer compared to the emotional and physical threat for Ukrainian and other past Soviet bloc countries populations in the scale of thinking.

I thought share positions via TR1 were from 3% not 5%? Am i simply incorrect in that view or is there more nuance to the regs?

I am still positive for this share but being realistic, even if the sellers holding dips below the TR1 level, it doesnt mean he has the intention to stop selling and at the value we are seeing here and the general market woes - i suspect a distressed seller is becoming more distressed, not less.

I agree this makes little sense. I totally get money being taken out of the market but as ever markey pendulum swinnging too far - currently non Russia commodities dropping (when presumably their demand would rise with sanctions) and of more relevance here - a company with its reserves held in the USA falling as oil rises (same to a degree with COPL). This will rebound as the initial money out the market panic rescinds imv.

We do not need more debt - the existing debt is sustainable and as we do not have the option to pay down we have cash on deposit that can be used for capital projects. Given we can not repay the debt, this seems a sensible approach to me and the level of debt v fcf is not a cause for concern in a healthy business - if you disregard the debt history here, I doubt you would be concerned of the debt level in any other ongoing business - remove the bias of the history and this is good management imv.

Yep - One of he reasons Putin is able to act here with impunity is that he has cleared his actions with China - they are happy to let him sate his Rus origination plot, thereby securing resources for China from Russia - with a likely reduction in price as a result. 2bn people in china - Putin therefore believes he can survive with Western sanctions and that ultimately the West will hurt themselves before Russia feels pain.
I had thought that S Africa PGM stocks would benefit but they are down this morning also.

a rare Ukraine winner - if Russia receives sanctions the supply of PGM will be restricted and I would have expected JLP to be one of the beneficiaries of that occurance. Very cheap this morning and a real bargain if you have the spare cash imv.

More posts on the board, slight upward movement after inert period, feels like we may be coming to life and due a little run upwards - hoping so!

My gut feeling is that Russia will not attack. Not because of the fear of the west but rather because of the fear of entering a bloody conflict with no exit strategy that would allow a graceful exit. Ukraine has spent the last 5-10 years getting ready for a specific engagement with Russia and they have rearmed with Wests help. If they invade, Ukraine will likely resist but fail, however I believe they will have over the last 5 years have made huge provision for a subsequent bloody conflict from a resistance perspective. This would put Russia in a difficult situation - there are a huge number of Ukrainians in Russia itself and a long bloody sustained conflict will not aid Putin at home - he may be a dictator but he still relies on a public support and the support of his oligarch henchmen. Sanctions and Russian death toll my crucially turn both the public and oligarchs against putin and he will be worried from that perspective. The West have to offer an Olive branch and in the background Russia will look to further their grip on Crimea as part of the wind down. All conjecture, but Ukraine should not be underestimated - by Putin or by the West who already failed Ukraine in the Crimea invasion.
