Simply means the share needs to make its way on fundamentals for a while rather than a pump as excitement froths over - no worries though the contents are still heating up and cooking nicely

I saw mention of Germany and by proxy European energy crisis and hydrogen solution being a part of solving this. I agree but I am more interested in North Africa hydrogen (Chariot if you are curious). The European energy crisis is exacerbated by Russia supply - why would japan / Europe risk putting hydrogen production there - surely secure PGM and set up
Hydrogen plant where you have abundance of renewable energy source, good politics and proximity to customer. I can only assume this hydrogen plant would be for mining energy only.
EUA v1 needs selling to get excited by v2 for me.

I have enjoyed this BB today more than the presentation.
Cyprus - I have a theory that Colin pushing Cyprus may have been the breaking point with LC not playing ball. The new proposed structure is more aligned to money led management and I believe this is Leon’s price for full control. To stop him getting to do all himself he now has to comply with an expansion panel - means he can’t always control speed and any failings in rollout will see him vulnerable imho.
This is a key growing pain as Jlp move to bigger org - everyone a bit less comfortable but should ensure success with it without LC. FWIW I hope it is with Leon but he needs to grow as a manager and accept he can’t be in the detail on all projects if he is to succeed.

For me a fantastic RNS.
1. Colin bows out to make way for a Chairman who can add value in building a large management organisation.
2. Leon acknowledges he cant micro manage further - he will drive patnerships rather than throughput.
3. In partnering in territories - means we can gain a faster return on our IP and by having multiple partners it reduces the log jam of our JLP capital and project managers from the equation - should lead to faster expansion.

I think our rpice is reflecting the fall in crypto and DOT in particular. i am hoping for a short term up as we have the parachain auction winners going live here on Saturday - Moonbeam, Acala and Astar - that should push our valuation imho.

I wonder if all the jorcs are queued up ready. You have to release news once ready, but each Jorc is not ready until signed off by Eurasia bod. Therefore by calling meetings can our bod control the flow of news - if so, shorters are in for a torrid few sessions

Just looked at the stockopedia 2021 stock challenge rankings where I picked JLP as one of my picks. It states today that JLP are up 31% since the start of 2021. Initially I would say that from afar that isnt too shabby - especially given the backdrop of covid. However I dont think it is fair given the developments and potential of this share. We have been hanging around sub 20p since June and whilst i have no intention of selling any of my core holding, it does seem odd that we have stuck in this range so long.

I read your post this morning Mr Carats, and following from the big stone theft mail, was going to file this last one in the same category of wider thinking. But then the market opens and what the actual f***! is going on.

Money in the bank, cashflow positive, 16% rise in stones value, large stone sales and expanded sales as Williamson back online - whats not to like - the share price!

Seems Mr Carats called it perfectly. So what next Mr Carats - when will we get to 100?

tbh - i think it all depends on whether we are selling our stake out or taking royalties (revenue share) in the future. I hope we will be bought out but the price is the equivalent of how long is a piece of string. Ithink buy out, as if say AZ are to take this forward, why have VELA et al piggy back your efforts as you use your manufacturing and marketing capacity to sell this drug. As such NAV to price multiple less relevant as cash returned to VELA. Given JN reputation I would hope for a premium to NAV but will never rely on that being the case. However, could AZ buy back all rights for $2bn? Small change if it suits their own strategy.

Pricing is strange but the value here is not.
We have good phase II results for a well tolerated, stable at room temperature pill that will reduce impact and deaths of the current global pandemic. Whats more it was originally formulated by AZ, one of the largest pharmas in the world who may want to rewrite how they are viewed in this pandemic. Whether AZ take it or not, who would you choose to steer and broker a deal if you had a pharma play if not Sir Chris Evans (backed by the Saudi Wealth fund). We really do have an embarrassment of positives here - thats as good as it gets in Pharma world from what little i have learnt over the last few years.

Product, people, placement, promotion all look really good - only the price to be delivered.....

I should also declare that I use Jonesrichards BB mails as a form of investment guidance and see him as my financial advisor in VELA and EUA amongst others.
Before you poo poo the penny, rather than asking for my calcs why dont you steady Eddie's show us what the deal looks like in your world and why it will only add a few million dollars to Enterprise value?

15x? I dont know whos saying it prior to now, but I am saying it is possible. On commercial deal for a covid tablet, we should expect to potentially reach 1p - thats more than 15x and rather reflects that the current mcap is very low.
The Arcadia investment was high risk and with that comes the potential for high reward. Still hurdles to be jumped, but the biggest risk of an initial phase II fail has already been avoided.

I have been spiked a few times - in fact in this share one of my purchases was at 0.28 way back. Never enjoyable but I have a rule that i only ever deal in companies in which I believe in the long term fundamentals - so I may get my entry wrong and end up with cash on share a lot longer than i would like, but I can soothe my furrowed brow by re-reviewing the fundamentals of the business and try and learn patience.
A spike is only a problem if you need cash, or the management or fundamental strategy of the share changes whilst you are being patient.
BLU has great fundamentals and is cheap based on Esports alone - my core fundamental here is growth of the esport market - PENDULUM is a free moonshot offer in the mix.

Thats been a long running theory for our cash pile - that we fund them further. From afar (with the Vela investor relations frustration at lack of comms), it does feel a little like JN and Vela feel a little marginalised from SGSC - on that basis it doesnt make it as clear cut that we would further fund. Also we already own x% of the revenue as it is - a deal to get more would need to come out of someone else's share also - if this was nailed on then no-one will be willing to do that, but without it being nailed on, it would see a further extension of trust in Pharma results reading and also the ability of Sir Chris Evans to get a deal accross the line - a lot of faith in 1 investment.

Personally hoping that AZ retake drug - its pre press so they can spin to their AZ advantage and they could then market this globally and look very good (assuming it works). Also that would see AZ take the next steps and more importantly and selfishly see VELA out of this area with hopefully a company changing increase in value. This is a personal preference - for me Pharma is too vague and slow in its profile but each to their own.

Most importantly if the drug is useful AZ buy back in would see SGSC fulfil their mandate of getting drugs to market - a statement of intent i am sure we all support over and above the business side of things.
