You are correct Northern, 1st December - not November as i stated. Still I got the 10 week element just about correct - and from the analysis posted earlier thats 2 1/2 months of a 21 month payback so 10% of the investment already paid back on day 1.

And to add, deal expected to be complete by 18th. Big impact to our cashflow and i recall that in the deal RNS we get proceeds of deal from 1st November, so if we sign we get a 10 week bumper cash reward into the bargain.

Crypto - Microsoft installed Director of Crpto business, Apple launching a peer to peer crypto payment service, Twitter investing in Opennode a Bitcoin payments service.
In other words the FAAANGS want into gaming and crypto / blockchain and they seem to be in a hurry to take their positions at present.

Never mind a big tech buying Dynasty, they might just come and buy BLU taking a 27% stake of Satoshi pay into the deal aswell. What price though....

To be fair to Mr Carats, he has a hard job here. Trying to deramp a share whose commodity price and demand are rising, whose cashflow is strongly positive and who has no impending capital requirements (so cant throw around the fund raise grenade) is not an easy gig on any day. Then factor in that Mr Carats keyboard seems to only contain 1 punctuation mark - exclamations and we should really feel for the poor fellow as he diligently ploughs this infertile furrow.
Cmon Mr Carats - break the mould and create some new deramp strategy, do better, or come and join us on the rosy, sunny side the street - we have lovely street side cafes where beautiful serving staff serve delightful beverages and aperitifs.

Thanks Northern for sharing. Cash inflows are fantastic. I think there is a small chance of some Cobalt in some form - even if it forms an almost beta test phase but happy to wait and see.

I should say, I am not as laissez faire on all investments - its just the margins here mean that as long as we can increase production we will make good money. If we were on a lower margin I would be much more concerned. The nosy side of me would love any more technical people than me to estimate Cobalt costs - I think we discussed a while back here but I cant remember - i assume they will be at most around the copper processing level? The margin we make per tonne is going to be incredible if so - usually those level of profits only come with a risk of 20 years in jail!

Personally, I appreciate any workings or forecasts posts - that includes Homeys in which I have to say he stated his assumptions as much as anyone does on a BB (becomes too time consuming to post them all). I find them interesting but whether i see them as peaky or not doesn't deter my position here. I see JLP as the sort of share to be a lazy investor within - i dont need to sweat things i cant control like the price of commodity or the company costs. The fundamentals are that we are rapidly expanding our processing ability, with further already stated projects to do more in the future. Therefore as long as that remains the case and progresses, value, cash and eventually share price should follow.

I do like a forecast though so whilst I am not doing any homework myself, as i say i appreciate the efforts of those who do and are willing to share.

One factor that we cant put in the forecasts but that is historically true is that Leon is a top top sandbagger. As such it would not surprise me in the slightest if at the next results to discover they have miraculously overachieved ounces of PGM from the 44000 declared level. Same goes for all timelines and all quantities - I used to run a services $500m pa division and in my experience, once a sandbagger, always a sandbagger - so i am optimistic that Leon will already be ahead. Not forecastable to any empirical degree but worth bearing this in mind.

I wont divulge my holding but its my largest position in my PF - and I must be the poor stepsiters destitute third cousin twice removeds maid. LOL!

Like most of the regular posters, its going to take a significant change in the companies prospects for me to change my position here - in the meantime I just need to manage my impatience and keep checking JLP are keeping to the plan - so far so good.

COPL Annual accounts were published 30th April - and can be published anytime - so unless the xop rules state that the cpr needs to be done within the year being audited, the 31st March date would give no surety to a worst case date.

Asking how long a cpr takes? Is that like asking how long is a piece of string? I assume that given the expected positivity COPL will be trying to pull out all the stops for the cpr, given the view that this will validate the find and cause a rise in share price and interest from larger producers. All that being said is there a consensus view as to a date?

Guidant - Looks a very innovative solution - circa 8% improvement to range (they say 6-12 miles extra per charge). Love the idea that if you run our of electricity in the future you get out and bounce the bonnet like people do when they are buyingf a car - lol.
I bought some TEK a couple of months ago and bought some more on the dip - I agree with Stan, all their investments seem to have enormous growth potential in massive growth markets. Easy hold for me as a result.

Each to their own Tobin. For me, a share that doesnt pay dividends has to rise in share price. I see it as a buffer to the inherent risk of having money in the markets. So many issues can hit a share so I prefer in the medium and long term for the share price to reflect progress. Reassures as 1 - it means the market are noticing the progress and as such the share is less likely to be a value trap; 2 - gives me the option to take capital if needed at a price that reflects the progress made. I don't plan to, but who knows what is around the corner not just for JLP, South Africa, LSE but most crucially myself.

More options the better is a nicer way to be and leads to me being more relaxed overall in the holding.

Positivity - JLP is my favourite share and I hope to ride its wave for some time to come but that is overlaid over my risk view where I hate all my active share positions as they all have the ability to take my money without notice!

Yes - I would really like to see some updated news - we have languished here in the 14p-17p range for a long long time. If (IF) the update shows we are progressing as expected and contains a forward looking statement on Copper I am hopefuly that we will move up nicely in regard to the share price.
We have been sub 20p for way way too long - not necessarily planning to sell, but want reassurance in my largest investment and part of that reassurance comes from a healthy share price.

In the last two weeks we traded more than our total number of shares. I am hopeful that a number of those buyers will have targets higher than where we sit now - even if they propose to trade. Therefore I am optimistic that this week if the MM's want to maintain the turnover of shares they will be forced to raise prices to continue to find sellers.

Enjoy your posts here. FWIW I feel Boris and many of his gang need to go for two reasons;
1. The lack of leadership and the complete diregard in their actions for the people they govern
2. The fact that they can not answer a simple question about their actions. If Boris was your employee (he is) if you asked him straight if he did something and he referred you to an investigation rather than replying I suspect he would be gone very quickly. Setting new examples of how to be non-trustworthy. A parallel is Clintons legalese reply of not having sexual relations - lawyerspeak and duplicitious in its intent.
The media often talk of what it is to be British citing humour (as if other countries dont have it) and many other factors. Heres my view on Britishness - it is the ability to steer a path where there is a correct course of action that does not need to be codified entirely but rather relies on a shared set of values as to behaviour to guide our actions - its being comfortable without full definition (unlike our US and European counterparts and is easily adopted by non-UK brought up immigrants. My concern with Boris and indeed all of this current government is that in response to their behaviour people will canvas for more codified rules - lets not do that - lets just live our collective values and send clear messages that this isnt about being ambushed by a cake but rather a set of behaviours that fall so far outside of our expectations that never mind being pushed out of no10, the attitude of the public should push Boris out of the UK through their future disapproval.

No-one in Finance likes people to make money off their actions. If Oliviera is aware of shorters the natureof the beast is he would want his share - ego dictates this - you dont let a power position go unused or your rep may be damaged. IMO The reason we have had such a prolonged short is down to the ability of the shorters to aggressively target knowing they have an arrangement with Oliviera so that their bail out position is known and defined. Less risk for shorter means you can be bolder.
As the price has dropped, it gets harder and harder to make money here for shorters and whilst the above means the risk isnt rising, the amount of margin to be made is smaller at each reduced level and the effort to get it is harder. Therefore shorters will go find a new host company - rinse and repeat. Its the lack of juicy shorting road that will change the dynamic here rather than a bullish trend taking over, but it will look like bullish behaviour as the bystanders pile in very quickly. Currently its like the penguins waiting on the iceberg - only way to see if there are seals waiting to eat them is for a few emboldened brave souls to jump in and not be eaten - once this occurs the rest of the colony pile in - thats going to happen.

This is going to move fast and I think it will do so in the next week - by the by I have jumped off the iceberg....no seals so far!

Our debt is not huge. Our interest rate on the debt is irrelevant when we are clearing such large cashflow on a period by period basis.
You presenting some share price facts now does not validate or make fact the unfortunate mis-representation of our debt position you profered in the earlier post.
Market will catch up - or not. But what is compelling me to sit tight is that with cash coming in at this rate I foresee dividends or share buybacks to provide a return to shareholders in the not too distant future irrespective of the market at large noticing our little caper here.
