I am often wrong, but I just have a feeling that we will release results tomorrow am. Too much speculation now. Also, if we already have a partner lined up, why allow prolonged speculation if you are ready from the good Dr's perspective.
I am holding till result anyhow so academic but whilst i am loving daily rises, I would rather cut to the chase and see results.
Fastest rising share I have ever invested in so already v happy.

I am guessing 50p will be hard to get above due to some profit taking (not me!). That said if we have got to 50p by lunch and given strong close activity the last few days what is a revised view of EOD price - 55p?

I am a relative newbie to VAL having bought at 16p back in mid-August. Thoroughly enjoying the journey and I am resisting the urge to take profits for once as I do think we have further to climb. I have really enjoyed the knowledge on the board, OB, ST, RB,Viera, Usain, Grace and many more - thank you - this is my first foray into Biotech on a rise and I have been reading and learning.
My question is around the price post news - when we were at 16p it was that others went up£50m Mcap on news so we should - we were circa £8m mcap. Views were from 80p to over the £1. My question is why have these targets risen by same posters as price rises pre news? If we were going to add £50m, then speculation pre news is simply closing the gap? Or does the frenzy change the likely impact of news?
Any view based on past experiences gratefully received.

Dr Dilly's use of elegant and the comments prior to 201 results are very exciting - if the 201 results werent all these things then why put out prior to results. Hoping results are tomorrow - anticipation building (for me anyhow).

Personally I don't like scrip dividends but the theory is that if you like to take your divi then sell the shares. If like many, you reinvest the divi's do nowt - net result on % ownership is the same.
I do think we will bve back to full divi soon however and this will have been an uncomfortable blip / buying opp.

I agree your points on Accustem takeover or buy out before listing and it would certainly be my preference rather than shares. Main reason being I believe the Accustem business will need a lot of cash or partnership to launch effectively - rather back the R&D and be paid out on the realisation.
I did wonder if the gasp to listing was deliberate - has there or is there ongoing talk for a sale of Accustem? I think yes and this was the reason for recent silence. My guess is that a big pharma is playing hardball on price for asset and TILS BoD are calling their bluff - raise your price or we list. Just my musings but it would make the engineered gap to listing a lot easier to understand - puts pressure on the big pharma to move their position.
Anyhow - above is a gusess and could be a load of tosh...

A bit of a dual message here - strong cash generation, business returning to normal and a bullish view of the management teams confidence on the one hand; on the other - no resumption of the dividend for the sake of prudence.

Not sure we will rise significantly without that resumption but happy to wait another quarter or so as I think in the long-term this is very cheap.

okay - what is the inference of this news to Petrel - what is your opinion that you are supporting with this article?
Apologies if that sound like a challenge - its not - just wanting clarification of your view of Petrel and we can then use the forum to discuss further if people agree / disagree.

I agree with your post - the 3m value is a balance sheet transaction to allow the transfer of assets. For the Share price it the drop of tils will be to that value that the market ascribes to STEM in theory, but in reality on splits there is often a change in sentiment and the overall mcap of both new entities rises overall. Ultimately once split each entity will be valued as any share is based on their relative future merits.

In terms of the STEM IPO that follows, any dilution will again be based on what value the IPO values itself at - this will be in the notes to potential investors- the dilution should then be based on not undermining our share - however we will need cash so there will be dilution of some level. So if we were valued at £300m and we want £30m cash, dilution should be in the range of 10% ownership, but the value of the company rises by the new cash. Never that simple in reality but there you go for theory.

Personally, I hope we get a STEM sale before we go to IPO - a lot cleaner IMHO and also hopefully a large pharma will get STEM to market for patient benefits quicker. All IMHO.

The links this management team had in Iraq are hopefully still strong and as such hopefully our new man in Iraq was picked as a result of his understanding of Ismael the minister. That plus the need for massive expansion of oil flow in Iraq I am hoping will see an announcement sooner rather than later on licence approval.
Would be great if it is this month.

also allows trader to lazily have a watch list and further evidence interest in a share on inspection if there is a claim of insider trading (if they got in too early before a newsflow) - the i have been watching this for ages defense. If it is trader, could also explain the link to newsflow

1 trade - i have always assumed it is a trader lining up for future trades - buys 1 share - then on news allows a faster move to trade in command on the keyboard than entering a new stock from scratch.

Hope you are correct but point 3 never fully goes away - it lurks in all businesses. Biggies such as stemprint split tax liabilities, then smalls Time delays, unexpected costs , key staff turnover, error in reporting etc etc - it cant be too big an impact or they need to release but i do wonder.
Still happy to hold and optimistic on all the good points. Not planning to sell anywhere under 200p.

I sincerely hope that rumours of nda's silencing the BoD is correct. They really pumped out the comms on the rise so silence is imho for one of the following
1 NDA's on negotiations - wouldn't ii's get wind of this and we would see punts?
2 They realised that the noise without new substance was counter-productive and are simply going to communicate well on news
3 There is some bad news of some nature lurking and if they were to communicate then by the very act they would need to disclose it - better to wait for some good news and issue the bad tagged to the back of that.

Really hope it isnt 3 - i have decided to stay in so not nervy but it would be good to have something to break us out of this trading void
