Aus. I am really sorry to have to say this, especially as there are a few who will use it as a stick to beat you but, I think you have lost it in your last few posts. The debates were had, people made there mind up, like you, for there personal reasons, and the outcome was leave. That has to be accepted Like it or not. It could perhaps have been set up as a 2 part thing, if leave wins then a second vote on with or without a deal to follow, but it was not parliament was left to decide, that's how it works. Mrs May caused most of the problem in 2017 because she was deluded enough to think after an election she would have a larger majority and get it done, she did not get that and so the problem really started. If a government had been elected in 2015 saying it would leave the EU without a public vote on it then we would have left in some form by now, would you be ranting about that if it had happened. The only thing the current situation has done is bring to the front the extremists wanting a no deal, and my friend you appear to be turning into an extremist for the opposite view and your message is harming you. I would prefer to stay but I had my say in 2016 and lost in the same way I loud have lost had I backed a horse at 100-1 and it fell at the last jump. The people were asked and they replied, we all put people in place to deal with it in 2017 and are having another go today, do we need to keep doing it until it fits your view, no, this will be the 3rd chance and it has to end at some point. TLW If you look back a few weeks you will find info relating to the pension, basically the pension would stay with BT and not move with nationalised parts of the company. The older schemes also have a crown guarantee ,ie the government would take it over if BT collapsed.

I am not going to take sides between you and those you have exchanged increasingly heated posts with, But maybe it's time to take it a little less personal. You are never going to convince those you are debating with, at some point you have to let it go, you were in the forces,so you know well it's not the battle you need to win, it's the war. There is no doubt that the coming week is a very important one, there have been many, and some heated comments on the outcome. There are those who will not waver from there opinion, no matter how much they are challenged, some, quite a few, are unsure which way is the best for them, and maybe some who will just sit back and accept the outcome whatever that may be. So with only a week left, who will win Strictly !!!

Bkkkkkk of course its your choice and you are free to make it. But there are increasing numbers of voters that are starting to question what is happening to politics, not just in the UK but world wide. There numbers will grow, they may not make much of a difference on Dec 12, then again they just might !
If not now then at some point the current political house of cards will fall. When that happens, and it will, the whole thing will be reset, and there will be some stability again, but then the cycle will start over, people will again put personal ambition ahead of rational thinking. But for now the thinkers, the questioners, and the open minded, will gain influence over the tribe followers, and get things changed for the better for a while. And even the tribe followers will gain from that, not that many will realise that they have...

As I posted yesterday, there are those who will always vote for there tribe no matter what, always have and always will. But there is a growing percentage of the population who do not like what there tribe is doing now, be that Labour or Tory, and they are the ones who may well decide the outcome, not the tribe followers. Just remember many the ousted Tories, by Boris, have held high office in the past and are well respected across parliament by members of all parties. What dose it say when you are trusted better by your opponents than by your leader !!!

Yet no mention of a past Tory PM, and a past Labour PM, saying DON'T vote for Boris. Which is more compelling, an MP or 2 past leaders of the country, then again there are the people Boris expelled, because they had independent thought, realising that in this case there leader was going in the wrong direction. They were not prepared to be bullied, they my friend is an example of a good and TRUSTWORTHY member of parliament.

I don't think it's as clear cut as is being discussed. There are those that will vote, left or right because they have allways done so and believe in what there side say now and have in the past, they will not be moved. Today I was chatting with 3 others, one has voted green in the past and would again, but there is only on offer, Labour, Tory, Lib dem, and independent, no Brexit and the seat is currently Labour. The other 3 of us would normally vote 2 Tory 1 labour, but all 4 of us have concern over the 2 main parties and are still undecided which to go for. I think this is the case for many at the moment, not happy with ther natural party, or the other main party. The polls say this or that but there are a lot of still undecided voters, who may well not decide until they have the slip in there hand. I think there is a fair chance of a hung parliament again, with power being held by, yet again, a minor party playing King maker...

And if it's another hung parliament?

Chances are, you would receive something like a bond for the parts that are taken into government control, still hold your shares in BT that's left at a lower price than the whole was. There is also comment about a special dividend payment as a one off. It has been commented on about 2-3 weeks ago on here.

Perhaps they have all sold and moved on !
