RE: NEW RECORD - BT AT 7 YEAR LOW!!4 Jan 2020 20:28
Avrohom. Your judgment may be questioned but for others this share has done them well and will continue to do so. Prices will go up and down, BT has had its fair share of issues causing a drop over the last 4 years or so, but remember around 10 years ago it was at around 60p for a while, would you have been complaining if you were buying at that price, 6 years later it was worth nearly £5... No. OFCOM has been the biggest issue there constraints in the BB area has ment others have had network access almost for free, BT caused its own problem in Italy, fair enough, the Brexit issue has restricted investment from overseas during that period and may take a while to come back depending on how things go. Just remember there is a good dividend been had over that time as well and at the moment X div on 24th Dec is also priced in, as is Trumps actions yesterday which could cause some uncertainty for a while. It's easy to complain about the drops and not shout about the rises, that's human nature. It's only a problem if the price is considered low if you need to sell otherwise until you do it matters not. It's easy for the big players to work a share that has a low value, that they know is not a fair price and should be higher, cause it to drop a few pence, jump in, then sell when it rises a few a day or so later, making millions. They know its undervalued at the moment, once it makes a steady rise they will loose intrest, go and play with another share and BT will start to move on.
