We seemed to be being pulled to 84p. I noticed we had a few big trades pulling us down yesterday, maybe a seller who made a quick gain. The logic doesn’t make sense but hey ho. The elastic band should snap upward at some point.

My belief is that FID will happen before purdah (end of October) slipping beyond that we risk a 6-12 month delay in first oil and that can incur inflationary costs. I am sure they are targeting this date. Interesting that FIG delayed the election and hence start of purdah back in August (just maybe they were influenced by FiD timing)? Very coincidental.

Spot on Phase 2 will start as soon as possible (quickly) after first oil on Phase 1. The aim here is to develop the basin quicker but making sure cash flow is managed effectively. If we have someone join with bigger pockets or cash revenues increase we can speed up the basin development. This is why I maintain appraising Isobel as it creates a much bigger opportunity and could entice another player to come in with cash to boost development of the new oil province. Isobel could double share price as well (assuming we are £1:50 - £2 at first oil), a doubling from there would be mighty attractive.
