I believe that the dilution with the new shares is 15-20% and we have had an over sell of 25%. This means they are pricing nothing in for FID (makes no sense) as dilution is conditional on FID. hoping we get the elastic band treatment soon.

My take is that this is the usual sabre rattle and is something the Argies feel obligated to do but carries no weight legally or otherwise and is a further confidence boost that FID is happening or they wouldn’t be doing it.

I’m 62….will be 63 early next year. I run a business in UK, I want to be out of rat race by next summer. I don’t “need” Rockhopper shares to retire, but it would certainly make it so much better. Having worked my nuts off all my life, my advice would be retire early, I wish I had. I stay very fit and healthy, so I hope I can get 10-12 years of really good living before age catches up. Best wishes to all you planning to retire soon in your 50s, smart move.

There is something happening behind the scenes this is true as a lot of high value unknown or unreported trades ahead gone through which are dragging us down. my guess it’s a big institution repositioning or just taking profits. it’s very frustrating but the fundamentals remain unaltered and we are still worth much more than this post FID and certainly first oil. Staying calm and waiting for the good news.

• The closer Isobel is to Sea Lion, the higher the synergy and potential savings.

Fair blue-sky (1.05bn net): ~£7.90/share → ~9× today’s 84p.

• Bull case (frontier success, 1.5bn net): ~£11.80/share → ~14× today.

• Extreme / total basin (2bn net): ~£15–22/share → 18–26× today.

This captures Sea Lion, Isobel, near-field satellites, and high-end frontier prospects, giving a realistic “total basin upside” view.
