I met a geezer down the pub last night, dressed in oily rags with star of David necklace on.

Yeah….so basically no one knows when FID is going to be and rumours are just that. Could be next week could be March 2026. That said this will be the most work I have ever seen for a project that isn’t going to happen.

I think the target will be in next 6 weeks before purdah (the ) weeks before FIG elections on 11th December ).

FID could be announced at any time. The senior debt needs confirmation but maybe they can confirm that and FID at the same time. September was the favourite month of H2 for FID, but now more (as do I) think more likely October. That said could be anytime, so be alert.

Their experiment to break us down into commodities they can harvest is now fully exposed to the average Joe. The gas lighting media’s propaganda isn’t working like it used to. The tide is turning and we will see a swing of the pendulum the other way before natural order is established. Night follows day, day follows night. As for Israel and Gaza that is a hot bed, has been for years. I am not close to it, but it seems inappropriate to call those who were genuinely trying to be eliminated by the Nazis as committing genocide. The media stirs up the rhetoric, it’s always women and children and hospitals and schools reported for sensationalism. To get facts is probably impossible. Therefore I concentrate on UK first as I see this country being “de-woked” as affecting me most.

I’m now thinking how recent drop maybe be on timing of FID. if we don’t get FID done by end of October then we enter purdah and likely FID is Q1 2026. the knock on effect is first oil from Sealion is 6-12 months delayed. So it’s a race to complete whatever they need like the bank due diligence for the senior debts and any FIG rubber stamping.

This is why end of October is important. In the grand scheme of life it may not matter too much although it’s annoying. The main financial risk is inflationary costs use up the financial reserves.

I agree the sentiment was good Navitas had their weekend meeting and all was positive then we started a relentless decline. When this has happened before it’s similar seems to be that depressing grind downwards and on thinner volumes.

Good news is we have been snapping back higher after such an episode and I don’t see what we won’t repeat.
