I think David Wilson's has to be new content but doubt there will be a Q&A so probably not 'live'. I guess they are all still too busy working on the test right!?

Annoying that they didn't at least include the Q&A from the previous seminar as there was some really good discussions afterwards. I feel certain that David's Accelerating rapid test development for COVID-19 through manufacturing scale. will be new content - but I somehow doubt there will be a Q&A so probably not live.

Maybe it was pre-recorded as the Q&A didn't seem to happen.

I saw Klaus this morning on the webinar - he seemed to be fine. He didn't do the Q&A - Lee Jenkins covered that for him. The first couple of questions were clearly from investors...
Why does it take so long to develop an LFT? Lee laughed - 'the golden question'. He just said in normal circumstances it could take a couple of years. Klaus had covered a lot of aspects in the webinar about the nitrocellulose membrane and ways to improve the flow of the sample - as too fast can negatively impact S&S and also conditions (humidity etc). Worth a view if the science interests you (it interests me a great deal).

Yes I have notice this and it was explained that the spread is an algorithm on LSE so it can lag. The buy/sell flag is just an estimate based on midpoint of spread - so can be off due to the lag as well

Phantom- I recall that thread or a similar one on NCYT possibly. The poster was a bit cagey from recollection about it.

So that rise was a about 181 to 191 - we are about 158 to 178... bit steeper this time.

Anyone joining? Klaus is also on a solo one at 7am as well about LFT development. Klaus, David, Brendan and Darren on all on the 3pm one. I think it will be difficult for them to speak freely if there has been no RNS. Anyone else think this rise COULD be about an imminent RNS? Seems kind of steep for it to just be about Cytiva setting up shop in Wales. Thoughts????

I think for impatient holders it will stink and for patient holders there will have been no other option for a time to sell shares. We don’t know the personal circumstances of AS. We don’t know the details behind the perceived delay. We know Klaus and David are having a webinar this week. I personally can’t see AS being allow to sell ahead of bad news and I can’t see Klaus and David discussing much on a webinar unless positive news is imminent... it would be very very unpleasant for them ... don’t you think????

In fact there was another question with regards to putting the LFT directly in mouth for saliva collection and the answer was that it was not ideal and one of the reasons was extra regulation- presumably MHRA

Happy Sunday sleepydave - great sensible post. It always confuses me when posters are so nasty in their negative comments like the duo from last night. It seems so unnecessary yet so obvious as to having devious motives... happy to have discussions here. I am certain that AS would have mentioned the extra step if it was required.

Rereading this one - I feel like the answer is skirting a bit about the 2020 aspect to the time question. Doesn’t seem like a commitment to timescales but having said that a lot must be out if their control at present.

So I can see 50 Q&As. 2 out of 3 of my questions are in there. So interesting that they chose to include this question perhaps. Anyone else notice if all their questions were answered or not? Assume they de duplicated as much as possible.
