Well good luck. If HL do compensate you from what I hear it would be a first. But let us know if it works out. I was going to make a complaint as well. Having said all that - the stop loss issue was not just down to HL. It was mostly down to the MMs not taking ANY shares. I sat there and tried to sell from 166 all the way down to 103. I occasionally got quotes but despite clicking, they would time out immediately. If you look at the volume chart I posted last night you can see the problem was that the mm's took the price from 166 to about 115 with very little volume at all. However in this instance, I would suggest that HL add an option to their stop loss functionality to allow clients to not action a stop loss if the prices is < x% below the stop loss target. That would be a good way of resolving the mm tricks.
