Sp holding up remarkably well. I don't think anyone here can complain about being in the 120s. The buy/sell flag is just worked out based on spread on the data feed. The spread is an algorithm that can lag. No one’s fault... just a flaw in the logic. Better to just look at the spread movement and volumes

BUT Clearly someone has a clue. Does this surprise anyone? I guess leaks happen all the time but this seems most odd with no RNS - I would rule out MM games given the amount of the rise... opinions?

Sorry if a stupid question- What is the deal with the ‘.’ Does it mean off topic? I used to work with a woman who used that as the subject for her email when sending emails ****ging off people. She ended up accidentally saving her pst file on my PC with no passwords. IT loaded it a year or so later after fixing an outlook problem and I went through it not recognising the emails... the ‘.’ was easy to sift through the dirt .

How do they know how many people want to sell versus buy? Does the data constantly stream in so you would see that? I guess my question is why the MMS settled on 102/103 within minutes literally never allowing any volume in... to test it. I guess my question is if they settled on 120 instead of 102 then would we be around 122 now? Or was it a reaction plan to take all covid shares down by 45% on vaccine news? I’m just wondering how much is decided on demand / supply and what is determined just by MM opinion- the movement in the 9th looks in the chart more to be MM deciding it to drop by 45% and then supply demand taking up and down from there over the week. I suppose you could argue if they took it down to far it would correct but I can’t help but think the MMs are driving the sentiment more than you would think.

Even the 5-10% where the vaccine doesn’t work is a problem. The asymptotic spreaders are a real risk let alone knowing if the vaccine might actually spread it... just had the head at our daughters school come down with it... despite measures and the whole of Y1 off

My other half had aches and sore throat and another 2 positives this morning in our daughters class so we ordered a test kit - I heard gagging upstairs... not nice. I think test results are taking 2-3 days ... we couldn’t book locally (obviously a local spike in cases) so opted for it to be delivered.

Interesting- could be for a variety of reasons... perhaps not wanting to be pigeon holed - but assume that the sample type would need to be specific without redesign... or we just have to wait and see. I would say that my kids class has had a massive outbreak - many have symptoms but neg test. Parents have to do the swab - only nasal as the swab cant touch tongue or teeth and with small kids that is impossible. It would be a shame if saliva wasn’t an option. Having said all that - having a UK manufactured LFT that wasn’t saliva would still be a huge step forward.

False positive is important as lab test will need to used for confirmation. We don’t want extra confirmation tests to overwhelm labs. False negative (sensitivity) is a little more complicated. Avacta are trying to manufacture an LFT to minimise the most infectious. It could be that you might test positive via PCR but your viral load is so low you are less likely to spread (tail end or just beginnings of an infection). Frequent testing is the only solution. The government realise this.

MFM that word or adjective might aptly called ‘trumped’. However I could equally class you and AW as trump like as well... you make negative statements into the abyss adding not to discussions on aspects of the company but purely to cast doubt.
