An interesting thread - thanks for the sensible discussion all. I do think that whatever analysis has been done on these tial groups - there will be elements that haven't/can't be considered eg the wider social distancing impact. If that changes with the roll out of vaccines, we could see higher instances on both non vaccination and vaccination groups. Obviously vaccination might control that but the underlying effectiveness might be over estimated with social distancing is what it is at present and over the last 9 months. I think this is expected though. There has to be an overall approach were we tackle the virus on several fronts. Therapeutics has a big role to play too.
