Be interesting to see if Serica apply for a new licence on P2347, which was released by BP towards the end of 2021. Burdock discovery and Badderlocks prospect, immediately to the east of Bruce.
Too small for the likes of Bp, but potentially interesting to Serica for their 2035 programme.
Quiet period with gas price being "managed" - and still the threat of additional taxes on UK companies. Bp & Shell wax lyrical whilst their share prices have doubled and have limited exposure being multi nationals - disgraceful.

What a good hedge Serica is during these times - I'm only surprised that UT & IT smaller companies have not added outrageously and had them move to the top twenty holdings - some have I might add.

They say any news is good news, but todays tabloids seem intent on placarding the huge profits Serica has made, whilst people suffer huge increases in living costs. A trifle unfair in my view, especially as the company has steered its way through from 25p a therm not so long ago, where a profit was difficult to achieve when delivering predominantly gas.
No mention of the company actively working towards extending the life of Bruce out to 2035 and continuing to deliver gas to the UK. Its called investment and tax stability is a pre requisite - or the golden goose is on the dinner table.

8p dividend - perhaps some long term holders consider now is the time to pre-empting the dividend and adding some prior to November. Canny

Unfortunately it all depends on your perspective. I have always looked at PMG as Tom Crosses plaything that gets him to the Charity Bash at the Marcliffe, Aberdeen each year. Not to say that I have not loaded up every time the sp plumbed the depths of 35p, with a sell position of around 55p. If I remember correctly I've traded 4 times in the last 5 years. Not a long term holding for me. LBE is another one of the boys brigade shares with the ex Faroes Petroleum management back to their old tricks and disheartening investors. Perth was offloaded by FPM and its been a poisoned chalice of hope.

Lucky its not a HP/HT well - and unlucky that your partner (SQZ) always seems to have drilling problems. Good news its happening and Serica have cash in the event of a strike and a deal can be struck.

Bit later in the cycle so seems a sensible option for me to buy in yesterday. After FEET debacle perhaps this may be a better home for some of the funds.

Watching with interest, as my buy position is a tad lower. Must say I'm disappointed in our Drill Rig. They won't be being paid by Sericas until such time as the equipment is repaired. Unfortunately the other sub-contractors will be costed no doubt.

As someone that was "in", in 2009 at 55p and bought heavily at 4p, I just love boring and have finally sold a few at 443p. After Monument Oil was sold ACW played the long game which was certainly successful. One of the few E & P to reward shareholders exponentially.
i3e seems to have followed a similar path as I initially bought at 38p and bought heavily at 4p. All to play for here and I sincerely hope we stay boring. GLA

I wouldn't say the board duped you into purchasing shares at a £1, other than it was speculative with this management team concentrating on developing the company, with the share price way down the totem pole. When all said and done this management team had huge payouts on the sale of FPM and now it is play time whilst they extract their initial cash input in the form of handsome salaries.
Notwithstanding that, with 2 drills ongoing, perhaps my tranche bought at 50p may have some legs. GLA and if the first is a duster back we go to the 30's. The gamble comes on whether to double up on the last drill, as if that's dry also, where does the company go then??

Are you not getting the Repsol Tain discovery mixed up. The census is that Serenity is geologically connected to Tain, both of which are a stones throw away from the Bleo Holm FPSO on the Blake Field.
Repsol have Tain on hold, I imagine until Serenity reveals itself.

Glad to help Dartron, I'm a quiet holder here from way back with 450,000 as of now. Went through the pain of watching my purchases at 35-38p go down the drain with Liberator then added in the 4-10p range. Been a travel experience and amusing that I sat opposite the i3 Energy Office on Westhill Campus, Aberdeenshire hoping for great things - and still am.

I set my re entry position at 350p, so happy enough to monitor and add on any further weakness. Results soon should be sparkling and my cups half full on N Eigg regardless of the delay.
If a certain company wants to part with Andrew, with the oil price back to high norms, I'm sure we could manage a copper or too.
I would suggest we are in a better position than JOG, PMG, HUR, ORCA and others that still have not got a farm in. Or IOG with their problems.

I'm more surprised we descended to that level sasa. Wasn't for long as I only managed one tranche before a reversal. I'm even more perplexed at the moment why UK smaller companies are not rejoicing with corporation tax being left at 19% and the uplift cancelled. Not doing to well there with my Inv Trusts at the moment!!
