Popped up on my Hargreaves IT Portfolio. Just looked at the Hendersons Lowland Inv Trust site and still not on the page. Sent them a tsk tsk as thats tardy.
Not much else to view other than details I put on prev . Sos.

Nice to see that within the Annual results, Serica Energy was its biggest contributor with its holding valued at 6.7m, reflecting a nearly 2% holding in Lowland (12th in largest holdings).
Always good to know who is holding and I guess dividend was tempting for them.

Unfortunately, you have to have something to sell that somebody wants for a takeover.
Cash of 21m with pay rises and executive bonuses will likely last another 5 years.

Tend to agree GeneralLevy, the negativity along with the "beckoning silence" is a tad dismaying for peops that invested around this level in March 21 (Columbus spud) or June 22 (Energy Profits Levy). Ans above of course.
Looking back at my spreadsheet I bought a sizeable amount in the region of 240-280p both times and it will come as no surprise that I have added today.
Like most I am aggrieved that the one share that I thought would do well this year has been sorely damaged by our Government and I dearly wish for a strongly worded missive sent to Mr Sunak explaining that all the North Sea Operators en masse will not be applying for any licences in the next round and will look for oversea's assets. If the public sector can hold this country to ransom - perhaps so sense may prevail.

Tend to agree with regard to North Eigg holding Serica at these levels, I would have re invested a substantial sum myself at the 290p level if the drill results were not so close. Glad of the uplift to around the 320p level prior to result which may cushion any drop.

Looks like our partner in Skerryvore (PMG 50%) will have to come up with a finance plan for the intended drill. We no doubt have access to the subsea detail and just perhaps a deal can be struck with Serica to bring this forward into 2023 to negate some of the 75%.

I don't usually respond to diatribe, but if the post was directed at me, Upomega, perhaps it is high time you moved on. Thats at least twice you have considered the option and I note your transition onto the advfm board.

Might send a better message, if ACW and MF re invest their dividend of the 1,500,000 shares each were rewarded for the BKR deal Sasa. After all, we put our own money in to Serica.
N Eigg is certainly looming close now, which has the MM's lowering the share price into the 280's to either tempt buyers or grab sellers shares. Unfortunately, the wealth grab has come at a crux point which doesn't help.
It seems a long time ago, I sold a large tranche at 443p and would normally fill my boots in the 280's but no RNS guidance on the effect to us has left me now awaiting N Eigg before I consider adding. Nothing ventured you LTH might say, but I'm licking my wounds and thinking of a gunpowder plot. GLA

Perhaps I can pop along to Rubislaw and help Mr Flegg draft a similar RNS as ITH has just released. Having been awarded 1,500,000 shares after BKR and an £800k salary, its the least he can do. Perhaps he is contemplating what to do with his forthcoming dividend!!!!!!!!

Well that's all the bad news out and a pretty dismal outcome. Its particularly distressing to see that the increase will stand even if gas prices return to a norm - whatever that is!!
We've bounced off around 290p a couple of times now and I am still reluctant to add, nor re invest a substantial dividend.
Surely now is the time for an RNS detailing heavy buying by our Executive Team and not defining selling by the Hardy's.
North Eigg is the last of my drilling ventures with i3 Energy and Eco Atlantic, both of which were drilling previous discoveries coming up dry. I sincerely hope they don't come in three's!!

Perhaps after Thursday, Serica may want to have some Norwegian assets in a country that has a better tax regime and put an offer in for LBE. Time this lot were made to work for a living.

Its no satisfaction to see KIST,HBR,ITH down in a similar vein. Appeasing the so called masses on the rationale that BP and Shell made billions is tantamount to suggesting they have an IQ of 1.

Deliberating on the Rhum Field, there must be a fair amount of money held within a government account that will ultimately be destined back to the Iranian National Oil Company.
I wonder if our government as guarantor of the funds has the ability to make them "work" for the UK ?? Are they still in dollars or sterling or rials - with all the associated currency fluctuations and inflation to boot.
Now if Iran perceives the UK is making hay at there expense - what better time to consider an offer from Serica for the other 50%. I wonder if on sale this also would be "held" - perhaps the Americans would be assuaged with this small thorn going away. i doubt it but nice to muse.

Paul, their strategy is working from a business perspective and I expect they will carry on in a similar vein. All have to remember that GS pocketed £12.5m from the Faroes Petroleum takeover and HH a slightly less amount. Like Tom Cross at PMG, they would be bored at home if they did nothing and they all have pet projects. I surmise that any appreciable increase in the SP will be a long long time coming and purely based on CoS on each drill.
Bottom drawer for me and hope you all only have a small percent invested as a play.

I could say it was £22, three years ago. Don't wish to dampen your enthusiasm but its been bouncing off lows around 260p twice now in the last 6 months. Bottom drawer holding for me, just glad the company is still afloat as its foundation does a lot for its home town.
