Just listened to the LSE company presentation.

Very pragmatic approach by the company with Pro-MATD Mongolian Govt....speaks volumes. Govt clearly wants a local Mongolian oil company to take the lead here, being the only explorer actively looking to develop Mongolias vast unexplored Oil resources.

Company has a clear strategy to take it forward and build into a sizeable Oil company.

Exploitation licence would be the biggest price moving catalyst as would a JV / Farm-in deal with Petrochina or others......Mike Buck talks openly about Petrochina and 'Others'....who are these Other companies. Got be either Korean or Mslaysian oil giants in my opinion like KNOC or Petronas would be my guess. Also puts pressure on Petrochina to pay top dollar to farm in Or JV instead of cheap entry....Hmmm. Coming weeks and months things surely will get very interesting. MATD should well and truly be in the spotlight during 2020.

Price rise in 2017 was on speculation of Farm in deal ahead of drilling in Blocks IV and V that are estimated to contain Billions of barrels.

Block V looks very promising, with Velociraptor, Fox, Phoenix lined up soon after they monetize Heron. Gazelle would add further momentum. 2020 finally looks like a year where MATD will be re-born enroute to becoming a major leading Mongolian oil company.

It takes times, today's Oil giants like BP, Shell and Exxon all started small before success struck. Exxon in Alaska drilled so many dusters and was about to leave until their last drill there. That last drill turned out to be the 15 Billion barrel 'Prudhoe Bay'...oil discovery as we know it today.

So future is looking very bright. Traders will be back here in abundance when things start motoring ahead.

Many folks got wrong footed during Jan-Feb 2017 waiting on sidelines. Soon this started motoring ahead on strong momentum, they all jumped in. Some best weeks with daily 20% rises were common, with skne re-trace.....3 steps forward 1 step back...

So to assume winter is going to ge quiet is a dangerous assumption to make in my view.

Plenty of major price moving catalysts are ahead and yet to come with news coming in earlier also. Bet that will be fun to watch as traders scramble to get in....LoL

BTW biggest gains came in Jan and Feb 2017.

Recovery rate used of 0.15 seems to be very low and extremely conservative as acknowledged by company itself after Heron surprised to the upside with oil flowing to surface naturally.

We could see more than 36p that was hit in Feb 2017, given that Heron is de-risked now and turning out to be lot bigger than Company originally thought.

Gazelle 'pich-out' traps could turn out to be lot bigger also, as they seem to have drilled on the edge boundary.

Cashflow from Heron from 2020 closes the door on any future funding in my view. They can drill those 3-4 drill targets in Block V where they have already had oil shows.
Acreage is huge.

No doubt in my mind, this would be over £1 a share, in next 2 years if all goes to plan. Staying put is my strategy here. I got no time for short term trading. Far too busy with work and other life commitments.

Well if the company says no dilution, then Mike Buck must be confident of deal with PetroChina coming onboard, who already told him, find oil and then we can talk...

50% farm in deal would bring in a big chunk of cash upfront....with PetroChina to sink in say 20-30 wells at no cost to MATD who could then use that cash anyway they want...drilling:

Phoenix

Everyone can see farm in with Petrochina is on...

You would see that too, if you were in and not on the fence.

I think MATD would not give away Block XX to Petrochina outright....as this is about to become cash cow for years to come.

Some folks seem to be obsessed with funding, just for a lower entry....well this is already low.

On Petrochina farm-in RNS, I would expect this to open at least 100% Higher....but same folks would still be crying funding.....

PetroChina farm-in should bring in lot of cash upfront in my view, so why would MATD need funding?

Writing is on the wall....PetroChina farm-in ever more closer in my view after Mongolias PM visits PetroChina oil field.

Positive update on Monday, could jump start this very nicely before Tue meeting and company presentation.

I think Heron could turn out lot bigger than original estimates which surprised even MATD management.

You do not need a CPR for Farm-in....and you know it.

PetroChina bought SOCO Interbational for over $100m soon after they drilled 3 out of 4 successful wells. They did not need a CPR for PetroChina buy out.

Heron-1 alone has exceeded flow rates than what SOCO had....lot more to come.

Waiting for spring might be way too late in my opinion. Price moves ahead of news. It jumped from 5p start of Jan2017 to end of Feb2017 touching 38p well ahead of wildcat drills and on speculation of Farm in.

This time around, totally different picture. Proven commercial oil from Heron discovery, that is about to get much much bigger with Gazelle also in the picture ahead.
PetroChina on standby to come in soon so to speak.

Again biggest Gains came during winter months.

MATD might even buy more acreage or Blocks in southern Mongolia closer to proven Chinese oil basins.

So I would say the future for MATD is looking ever so bright now Vs few years ago.

I think MATD management want to do precisely that....go after the big prize in Block IV and V.

Block XX just gives them early cashflow. In my view, the plan probably is to farm in 50% of Block XX to PetroChina who can agree to drill say 30-40 wells there. Hence increase production many fold for both parties.

Farm-In cash received upfront from PetroChina would probably be used to drill say about 4-5 wells in Block V.

Block V drill targets:
1. Velociraptor
2 prospects ( 1 on either side of Velociraptor)
3. Fox
4. Phoenix
